No, UK trade has not grown faster than EU trade, far from it.

This. 👇 The powerful remain lobby - notably those who tried to stop us leaving post referendum - has never stopped playing their project fear game. Not only have we outperformed the EU’s biggest economy - Germany 👇- but UK exports to the EU are up by nearly 70% - not far off double what the EU has achieved with non-EU countries. Whilst we have sustained a stable share of world trade since pre-Brexit, the EU’s share of global trade has fallen by 15%. The failures of our own economy are home grown. High taxes, high energy costs and overbearing regulation have stifled growth - but in the last decade we have still grown more than any of the 3 biggest EU economies (Germany, France and Italy). Starmer has form on lying. Project fear was wrong in 2016 and it’s wrong in 2026. Don’t fall for EU ideologues lies. Check the figures for yourself.

We read here of how Labour are intending to introduce "plans" for the "mechanism of alignment" with a view to the much hoped-for UK-EU "reset" (you know, the one supposed to happen last year ?🤡)
STOP ALL THIS PUSSYFOOTING AROUND AND JUST BUNG "REJOIN" IN YOUR NEXT MANIFESTO !

Oh and by the way. EU citizens will potentially now have 𝒎𝒐𝒓𝒆 rights to live & work in Australia (not age-restricted & for a longer time) than British people do under Johnson's rushed and botched deal

Australians can now live & work freely in the EU for 4 years and vice versa That means they now have 𝒎𝒐𝒓𝒆 EU rights than British people. Free movement offered millions of us fantastic opportunities but Brexiteers slammed that door shut, most shamefully on their own children

A challenging feat but I think he's done it! Andrew Griffith MP has written the most inaccurate paragraph on trade since 2016. Where "great many" = 3, "Many" = 1, CPTPP did not open new markets, the EU doesn't want to join, and Aus / NZ FTAs did not significantly open up trade

Rejoining single market has long been the obvious first step to improve UK economic and strategic relationship with EU. UK could rejoin SM now, from outside EU, by rejoining European economic area (EEA), which nobody ever voted to leave. That’s worth 3%+ on UK GDP.
