Up until 2016 about it was legal for huge companies to use arsenic in the chicken feed to “promote growth,” ie fatten up the chicken before slaughter. The arsenic also gave chickens a slightly more pink hue as well. This has been stopped, but from 1940-2016 Americans were consuming chicken with arsenic intentionally added to it. They got away with this because the arsenic added was a less toxic form, but it was later discovered that this form of arsenic could be converted to the inorganic form of arsenic (highly toxic) in the chickens body through methylation cycles. Companies since have used other methods to fatten up chicken before slaughter. Crazy what they have done to the food supply, and these criminal companies never get prosecuted for poisoning people, at scale.

@TempoZP And how are most of these games doing? Fighting games are extremely stale and constantly fail. RTS is dead. Arena shooter is dead. CS is just gambling. "Emergent mechanics" don't make for good gameplay, they just make people feel superior once they learn something unobvious.

One of the worst / least informed takes I've ever read. Most of modern gaming is built on mechanics that started as emergent gameplay. Everything from FGC combos, most forms of FPS movement / aim, RTS / MOBA fundamentals. All taken to wild places the designers never expected

SM64 was the first of its kind and was also limited by its controller(it doesn't translate well in controllers that aren't built the same way). Sunshine simply was bad.

@AidemsterYT @kvbrd_YT @catgirlprostate Spin jumps in sms work differently from the ones in smo. You only need a 360 input rather than a 720, and the input can also be buffered while airborne. Even if you do a grounded 360 input to spin jump, its still faster than an odyssey spin jump (and can be canceled into dive)
