@Michael51731292 @HMKilla They do. Shadow isn’t from space, Sonic doesn’t generate electricity from his body, Metal doesn’t split into multiple copies, Tails doesn’t have a jetpack (he doesn’t need one either), and regular rings aren’t dimensional portals, they’re health pickups/currency.

@HMKilla TBH, Im not a fan of them showcasing Chaos Energy as an electric effect, lightning is associated with Speedsters alot, primarily due to the Flash, and Sonic was one of the big examples to not do that, so he was unique in that regard

Kirby also did this with forgotten land where the whole thing is essentially dystopian earth and its the best game in the series.
The problem is not the idea, its the execution.
Frontiers problems are lack of architecture and flowing cohesive aesthetics, not realism.

I can't stress how important it was to have had this at launch. I, and many others, spoke about this extensively while S2 fanboys insisted it wasn't that easy. This update is 100% a result of people online complaining about the Switch 2's backwards compatibility. A HUGE win imo.
