@bl_ag_inc Kinda fell into it over time just by doing my own stuff. 60' twin row bar, 40' 7.5" and a 15' 7.5". Charge minimums on the small stuff and go hourly if needed. 9 times out of 10 the small jobs make nothing if you charge per acre. You can DM me if you wanna talk

@braunfarm Yes, same issues. Bought stuff a few years ago from them and it was a couple months before it all showed up. Bought another product from them early this spring and still waiting on the rest of the pieces which I ended up just buying myself.

Does anyone have any experience with Fenning equipment from Ohio? Bought a piece from him with the promise he had a truck ready to deliver it last week. The owner has been very slow to communicate what the status is

@LandonB_IA I rented a quarter in 2020 that had not had a rock picked in 40 years. Estimated 130 per acre average. Built a 60 foot wide driveway with the smaller ones…

From the 15 year olds “hey we got one dug up but we can’t lift it into the Ranger”. Good work, boys! Don’t wreck your backs. That’s what we have loaders for. I just love I can turn them loose on 2 quarters of rock picking and not have to babysit them. It’ll be done right.

Extra cash now is used to not need an op note and then invested elsewhere @5-7% return. 3% land loan can wait, it gets cheaper every week that goes by due to inflation. Keep cash fluid and you have options. Keep milking cheap $$. Good thoughts guys

@FarmrHuntr @jasonmauck1 What's old is new again...I have a field set up similarly to this for this year. Spring 22-Oats w/alfalfa, harvested oats, drilled SS, swath grazed with cows over winter, first cut alfalfa this spring, then plant corn and crimp then innerseed. 4 crops in 2 yrs

@Brady22w Went to a 60' Fast and used the old bar to build a Y drop bar. Blu jet units I rebuilt a year before we quit using it. Make a deal on them if your interested.

What do you all have for side dress machines? We just got a 40’ orthman bar and going to build one. We wanted to go with orthman row units but they couldn’t make us any until June!

Seriously, what's so difficult about building a 30' mounted no-till drill? Why does it have to be pull type with 46 wheels on it?
