I read the article and a lot of the stuff she says is true. The dating scene sucks because we’re consumed by vanity and we forget what marriage is for/we don’t trust in God’s plan for us; Instead we let anxiety rule our lives and we create our own expectations contrary to what God has in store for us. Here’s two posts I saw today that might help

@patristicpill Dating the heterodox isn’t necessarily wrong as long as that person repents of their heresy, is baptized into the Church, and the subsequent marriage takes place in the Church

There are canonized Saints who used curse words frequently. It is not the words themselves but the spirit in which we say them. Just as it is not a sin to use the name of God when addressing Him, but it is to use that name in vain or blasphemous ways. Sin does not come from the tongue but the heart that moves it. Christ called a woman a dog yet he did it with love.

If you are out here arguing that it’s perfectly acceptable for Christians to use foul language, thinking you are some great defender of the faith, I’m here to tell you that you are actually fighting against Christ by attempting to break down the basic norms of Christian piety.

Was Elisha an idolator for venerating the staff and cloak of Elijah after he was taken into the heavens? The saints were once temples of the Holy Spirit, they live on in heaven, and the grace of God still permeates their corpses. I understand that this seems strange, but just as God worked through them while they were alive, His Spirit is still active through what remains of them to this day. It was not Saint Peter who healed the lame but the Holy Spirit in Him. It is not the corpses of the Saints themselves that heals us and works miracles, but the Holy Spirit that still resides in their relics

Crazy how tone deaf orthos are when they demeaningly say we “worship the Bible” or make it an idol. Like yeah nigga if God spoke I’m adoring, venerating, honoring, magnifying, deeply admiring, revering, cherishing, highly esteeming, and exalting every jot and tittle He says!

This video is incredibly painful to watch and most of us think you’re possessed by a demon. Salvation is found alone in the Church, as Christ identifies Himself with Her. Do not be fooled thinking that your thoughts or beliefs can save you. What is required is an inner transformation of the heart through repentance and submission to God’s will. You are leading people to destruction by saying that they don’t have to change to be saved. If somebody lives in sin but believes that God will save them this belief means nothing. It is a demonic delusion. Many will say on that day…

We believe that if a person is in ignorance(or perhaps they cannot be baptized before their death) that God can unite them through extraneous circumstances to His Church. We beleive that the thief on the cross was united to the Church through these means. We do not limit God’s grace and mercy but we believe that salvation comes from the Church alone, as Christ, who is the door to paradise, identifies Himself as the Church. It is His body and we are His members. “he who does not enter the sheepfold by the door, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber”

The Eastern Orthodox teach a person needs to be a member of their church to be SAVED, and there’s NO exceptions. Screenshot is from Orthodox Catechism by Bishop Sotirios.

Harold, thanks for the feedback. I try and appear across a wide range of shows to spread the mass deportation word to as many people as possible. From local TV stations in LA and Chicago to CNN and the New York Times as well as FOX, NEWSMAX and OAN, I try and engage them all. Be doing another interesting one tomorrow so stay tuned!!!!!!

This is true. Gregory Palamas’ (biological) father who himself was a miracle worker, and was a respected man in the world, traveled WEEKS to see his spiritual Father and receive counsel. This is the first example that came to my mind and of course your parish priest CAN be your spiritual Father but his main role is that of a confessor and an administrator of the sacraments

I believe that Protestantism is just as flawed(if not more so) than Islam, as it doesn’t only reject Christ and His Church, but also perverts His teachings and teaches a gospel contrary to and in place of the original one. Also I’ve seen people using ai generated images of “orthodox” doing crazy stuff to defend Protestantism. There of course are genuine Protestants who pursue the truth to the best of their abilities but there are also a lot of people on here who only care about “owning the heretics”. This pride also exists within orthodox twitter but it’s much easier to notice these attacks when they’re pointed at us. I’m sure you notice the disingenuous orthodox Christians more than I do just as I notice the disingenuous Protestants more than you
