@JJ_McCullough J.J instead of talking about floor crossers maybe we need to address the fact that it is incredibly difficult for MPs to vote against the party. I dont know how you fix it but that would help quite a bit.

This floor crossing BS is out of control. If MPs in this country can just change parties whenever they want, then voters truly have no control over who becomes prime minister and runs our government. The whole Canadian system is based on the premise that parties MATTER.
Mark Carney@MarkJCarney

At this important moment for our country’s future, Canadians with a broad range of experience and perspectives are uniting to build Canada strong. I am honoured to welcome Marilyn Gladu today as the newest member of this government and our Liberal caucus. In a time of global economic uncertainty, Canada’s success will depend on how we build ambition into progress and strengths into sustained advantage. Marilyn brings the practical, results-driven leadership this effort demands. Having spent decades of her career in engineering and international business, she understands what it takes to create good jobs, strengthen supply chains, and ensure Canadian industry can compete in a rapidly changing global economy. She has been elected by the people of Sarnia—Lambton–Bkejwanong in four straight elections since 2015, and repeatedly earned recognition from colleagues across Parliament for her proven willingness to work constructively across party lines. I’m looking forward to working closely with Marilyn to build a stronger and more independent Canadian economy, meeting the challenges of a changing world with lasting opportunities for all.

@Lanstrider @oldpappy59 @therealmrbench So who created these monopolies? Who's preventing those fair-priced supply chains such as Aldi stepping into Canadian market? Who's preventing young generations from becoming new farm producers? Libs govt and the leftists residing in super metropolitans who support all of these.

@nidiChenWenDi @oldpappy59 @therealmrbench Ahh yes I forgot those animals must produce proteins out of thin air. How could I forget God created me as an obligate carnivore? How could countries like China or Japan or Korea meet nutritional needs with a larger share of non-meat protein sources. TRULY A QUESTION!

@Lanstrider @oldpappy59 @therealmrbench Same liberal BS lolll, "Is meat the only form of protein?", absolutely no, our ancestors of homosapiens even ate ant eggs and frog for protein🤪if you'd like to live under the living standard of Haiti why not just move there

@Lanstrider @oldpappy59 @therealmrbench While the children form lower-class families are suffering from the risk of inadequate of protein, you're talking about "quality" and "higher standards", you fucking liberal idiot. You cucks are the main underlying reason why more and more Canadians currently can't afford steaks

@RealHutchBCPD @therealmrbench You know other countries with high standards dont have people visiting food banks in droves right? You know these things are not 1:1 right? You know we can keep higher standards while helping businesses thrive so that people can receive better wages right?

@Lanstrider @therealmrbench I will only do this with you, if you agree that if free-run chickens are more prone to disease, that you forfeit the "it doesnt say they need more drugs" fixation. And if you actually read the studies, not just look for lines that let you misunderstand them like you have so far

@smackystryker @Melbme4now @therealmrbench ... who do you think is injecting chickens with hormones or steroids? You know the point of the carbon tax is literally to tax carbon emissions right? Of course that adds to expenses but not as much as you think. We have plenty of exemptions too for agri too btw

@Lanstrider @Melbme4now @therealmrbench so you see more gov. regulation as good. I don't. family farms don't inject their chickens with steroids and hormones and to make enough to run their farms (that now includes the carbon tax by whatever name they have now) to heat the barns etc. they have to charge more.

@smackystryker @therealmrbench Interesting because I didn't argue its not higher. I am showing that the difference in Chicken is not as much as this post would have you believe.

@TheDallasG @therealmrbench None of that paper you cited suggests caged hens require less drugs or are less prone to disease than free-run. In fact this paper actually says it cannot determine what came first poor health leading to infection or infection leading to poor health.

@Lanstrider @therealmrbench If you check out the chicken rooms in chilliwack BC, it becomes obvious why they're always injecting them constantly. Its a horror film. Its factory farming without machine walls.

@therealmrbench I don't know where you learned to do math but here goes: $1.39/100g = $6.30/lb (NOT $8) You're comparing that to the offering which is currently on sale in the US market at $2.75/lb. Excluding supply management, we have higher standards in Canada for poultry.

@LarsonTodd31070 @Melbme4now @therealmrbench Well that's not what I said. I said that yes the US is cheaper, however this is not ALWAYS the case. If someone is struggling to pay bills then of course they wouldn't want to be in the US when the prices spikes.

@LarsonTodd31070 @Melbme4now @therealmrbench I mean if cheaper wins then sure the US but... I don't live in the US. Let me illustrate the difference in volatility. Both are CPI sourced numbers for Chicken Breasts. (untitled chart). Both Charts are from 2017 to present. Let me know which you'd prefer.
