If you look for truth you may find comfort in the end; if you look for comfort you will find neither comfort or truth- CS Lewis Romans 5:8

Some sins never leave your mouth...but God still hears them. Here is one of mine: I am reading more. Praying more. Trying harder to obey. Fighting sins I used to pet. And somewhere underneath all that effort, a thought started whispering... Surely God sees this. Surely this counts for something. Then it hit me. I was bringing God my effort like He should be impressed. But God is not looking for sinners who finally became impressive. He is merciful to sinners who stop trying to be. I wanted grace for my sin and credit for my obedience.

@StefanMolyneux Jesus told us false teachers and persecution would come. “Behold, I am sending you out as sheep in the midst of wolves, so be wise as serpents and innocent as doves. — Matthew 10:16

Christianity is failing because it has lost the ability to identify bad actors and exclude them. Thus the craziest people have taken over the churches.

No. It is good to pray for direction and discernment but our heart should be focused on how can I glorify God in where I am right now. We need to not fret too much on if we think we need to move on, or stay. They are important decisions and we should do them wisely, but thats secondary. We need to focus on how can I glorify God where I am at RIGHT NOW. And then, if you do decide to stop or change jobs, or sell a house or chase that dream as you say, you glorify God in that decision until it changes or He directly shuts the door. We whole point is we are to glorify God in all that we do, and that includes choices that lead to bad decisions or good ones. If God is glorified even in a hard time or when we make an unknowingly bad decision, that means we are doing the will of God until he changes where He wants us. But until then he wants us where we are as we can glorify Him and preach to others in both hard or prosperous circumstances. Habakkuk 3:17-18 Though the fig tree should not blossom, nor fruit be on the vines, the produce of the olive fail and the fields yield no food, the flock be cut off from the fold and there be no herd in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the Lord; I will take joy in the God of my salvation. Job 1:21 And he said, “Naked I came from my mother's womb, and naked shall I return. The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.”

I believe in nuance. I have a whole show about it. But you can’t nuance everything all the time. Some truths need to be stated plainly, directly, and without apology. As the author of Ecclesiastes might say, there's a time for nuance, and there's a time for straight talk. Wisdom will determine the difference. Lord, give us wisdom!

“‘You have seen how the Lord your God carried you, as a man carries his son, all the way that you went until you came to this place.’ Yet in spite of this word you did not believe the Lord your God.” Deuteronomy 1:31–32 The greater the bygone grace, the greater should be our confidence in future grace.

I'm going to try my best to complain less. This little guy hasn't had a fair shake in his entire life and he's out here fighting for every step he takes. My problems aren't that serious. Not even close. Source: wonderfullifewithbedford (IG)

The Lord didn’t check who inside the house was worthy. He checked for blood on the doorposts. None of us is worthy. Only the blood of Jesus can cover us.

My theory is they over inflate them to cause a little more chaos by having the balls react in ways players aren't used to when dribbling and shooting, therbye leveling the playing field skill wise and giving a greater chance for upsets. It's harder to dribble and shoot with an over inflated ball. This affects players who dribble and shoot well more than those who don't do those things well. And if you've been relying on those skills all season you have to adjust very fast or get eliminated.

JOHNSON, NAW POWER HAWKS: The Atlanta Hawks extended their winning streak to 10 games last night as Jalen Johnson recorded his 13th triple-double of the season and Nickeil Alexander-Walker scored a career-high 41 points. The Hawks have surged into contention for a top-six playoff spot in the Eastern Conference behind their two leading scorers. Johnson, a first-time All-Star, is on pace to join Oscar Robertson as the only players to average at least 20.0 points, 10.0 rebounds and 8.0 assists in a season before turning 25. Alexander-Walker is averaging a career-high 20.3 points, nearly double his previous best of 11.0 in 2020-21.
