I've got a bit of a magnum opus for you on how the NFL is changing into almost a completely different sport. And why we're getting so many weird, high-scoring games. The number of 55+ yard field goals has increased by 3x since just 2022, for instance.

I am guessing there are 500 D-1 players that will make than the @Suns Collin Gillespie’s 578K salary this year. One of the best college guards of last decade. This fact along is indicative of a broken system that won’t sustain itself long-term. Where are the administrative “adults in room” who can help fix this? Gone.

@CBSSports Not only is there is no gather step in college basketball, there is nothing in the travel rule that says two steps. The rule is you can lift your pivot foot when you jump to shoot or pass.

@TheHoopCentral He turns three times with the ball in a chin-it position. The first turn is perfectly legal because it's in concert with his body in his space. His second and third turns are "thrown" to clear out space and are fouls imo.
