This timelapse of Alex Honnold’s 1 hour 35 minute free solo climb of Taipei 101 is unreal. He said the main challenge was “not getting complacent up the bamboo boxes, because it’s 64 of the same sequence over and over.” His music playlist (mostly Tool) helped because each bamboo box took about the length of a song and he could keep pace. Honnold wants to climb other mega skyscrapers if allowed. Thinks Taipei 101 was the ideal challenge, though: “This one is so perfect for climbing. There are some buildings that are almost too easy for climbing. Like, ones that have a window washing track on the outside, where you’re just hand over handing on some track the whole way. You can climb it, but it’s not a challenge. The thing about Taipei 101 is it’s perfectly in the sweet spot for me, where it’s possible, and it’s not too insanely hard.” *** Post-climb intervie with Variety: variety.com/2026/tv/news/a… Timelapse: reddit.com/r/nextfuckingl…

@InvertTheWing Spurs play better against better teams when they can just be compact and play on the break, just like they did at the beginning of the season. When you don’t have much time to train with new coach/players, it’s harder to play expansive football. I certainly don’t see 4 losses

Relegation is a very real possibility. City, Newcastle, United, Arsenal in consecutive fixtures.

@ArsenalGunny @ftbl_pat @KNGDM_Prince That was just a reply to your point nothing more. There was a team that had 60% possession and 22 shots (7 on target) against your 9, with more xG in a game you won by pure luck and not by 5-0…

@KNGDM_Prince The teams that have tried to play against us this year: Leeds 5-0 Ange’s Forrest 3-0 Atletico Madrid 4-0 There is no stopping this side. A few teams have pushed us but we still won: Atletico Bilbao. CL. Was not an easy 2-0. Newcastle 2-1. Palace…prob the BEST team weve faced.

Your wisdom teeth could save your life. They contain stem cells that could repair your heart, bone, and even brain tissue. What was once considered medical waste may soon be a powerful tool in regenerative medicine. Scientists have discovered that wisdom teeth — often removed and discarded in adolescence or young adulthood — contain a rich supply of mesenchymal stem cells capable of transforming into bone, muscle, nerve, and other vital tissues. Dental stem cells have shown promise in preclinical studies for conditions ranging from arthritis and diabetes to cognitive disorders like Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease. And unlike stem cell collection from bone marrow or blood, harvesting dental pulp during wisdom tooth removal involves no additional procedures or discomfort. [Journal of Natural Science, Biology and Medicine. "Current overview on dental stem cells applications in regenerative dentistry." Stem Save (2025). Current Clinical Applications for Stem Cells]

AI Learns to Decode Neuron Types From Brain Signals With 95% Accuracy A new study has introduced an AI algorithm capable of identifying different types of neurons based on their electrical activity with 95% accuracy, without requiring genetic modifications. Using optogenetics, researchers tagged neuron types with light and recorded their distinct spike patterns to build a database of electrical "signatures." This data trained an AI system to reliably distinguish five neuron types in both mice and monkeys. The technique overcomes a major limitation in neuroscience, where traditional recordings couldn't tell neuron types apart. It opens new avenues for studying brain function, neurological disorders, and improving technologies like brain-computer interfaces. The algorithm and database are freely available, offering a valuable resource for global neuroscience research.

@rational_wiki It’s crazy how easily some people give up on rights that have been so valiantly fought for and have demanded such sacrifice, just to suit their political agenda.. we have enjoyed these rights for so little, in the context of human history, that it’s very easy to slip back
