Just noticed Yes Burger in Žižkov completely shut as I passed in a tram. Front deck torn down, signs gone, space empty. Looks like permanent closure. Another restaurant that didn't survive the pandemic.

Loving the roast beef sandwich from Le Caveau on JzP square. Super-tender, medium-rare beef was sliced thin + caramelized onions, pickles, greens & Dijon fraiche. Incredible bread. I cut it in half, it’s BIG! And just 132 CZK. Best cold sandwich I’ve had in Prague

@LasSaboritas To be fair I always place that this is the one upscale Ambiente place that's upscale in most of the bad ways, too. Possibly because it's frequented by tourists a lot.

Receipt from The Nest

We were excited to try The Nest (via Wolt). Best: Korean fried chicken w/spicy sauce. Fairly good: krapao chicken needs an injection of flavor. Worst: beef rendang, a tangled ball of underseasoned, dry, beef strands. These are SMALL servings (maybe lunch size). 🙁 🌶🌶

We were so happy with the flavor of the salami valpolicella pizza from Pizzeria Kmotra: spicy, cheesy, tomatoey, and the best kind of greasy. 😀 Capricciosa was good too but lacked a flavor punch and a final topping of cheese. Slow delivery but that’s on Wolt. Overall 🌶🌶🌶

Mundo Picante means “spicy world” - would the food match the name? It’s a small menu on Wolt: quesadillas, nachos, burritos, w/different fillings. We liked the barbacoa quesadilla & burrito, but found the long strands of beef hard to eat at times. Good salsas & guacamole. 🌶🌶🌶

Čínská restaurace JIN HE receipt

We liked everything we ordered from Čínská restaurace JIN HE (via Wolt), especially the fried noodles with shrimp, the beef with mushrooms and bamboo shoots, and the hot and sour soup. Big servings meant we had leftovers for lunch the next day! 🌶🌶🌶🌶
