@AuxMire @SandyofCthulhu @miles_commodore A new study came out saying Europe has been increasing in temperature the last 40 years because the air has been made too clean. More pollution would weaken the sunlight. I'm not kidding. Heard it on the news this week.

@SandyofCthulhu @miles_commodore You do realise that the heatwaves continue to extend and weather patterns start changing? Take southern Germany for example, the fourty years I live here the summers got worse with less rain and the winters lost lots of snow. A few decades is insanely fast for such changes.

@effthealgorithm Like Hemingway, who was born in the same part of Chicago as me, I have a pretty high tolerance for alcohol. I write and edit sober, but I find when drinking, it's the same as when I play pool. Being just buzzed enough can be fun.

How do you people who write drunk write drunk? I get three sips in and am ready for a nap.

@Unloved_Bikkits They were talking about redoing Princess Bride a few years ago and there was quite a bit of outcry from fans, actors, and directors, saying it's perfect and should be left alone. I just saw they're doing another remake of "The Thomas Crowne Affair." Meh.

@KaitWillett @fmalagaz She was my hair stylist, super hot. Still wanted sex after 2 kids and a miscarriage. Her husband was an IT guy. He never initiated, never thought about it, considered it a chore. No signs of being gay. I figured it was low T. My wife thinks pot use destroyed his libido.

@KaitWillett @fmalagaz I think it's far more common for wives to shut down their husbands, particularly after childbirth. However, I know of women who complain about getting none from their men, and this is when they're still attractive and they initiate. One baffled me.

Who has drawn the best Dr. Strange? Should he be old and slight, weary and worn, mysterious and odd, or heathy and robust? Where does your Strange fall?

@valhallacircles Yeah, I had to think of soundtracks that were so good I went out to get them. Stand By Me was on the bilboard album charts for a while, and the song was a hit again after the film. On the radio all the time.

@LassGene Oooh yes! The Departed did have a great soundtrack. Youre the first to mention Stand by Me also - another great one. The internet agrees with Pulp and Guardians. :)

@valhallacircles Probably my 50th. I had a general get-together at Up Down Arcade. My best friends from kindergarten to the present showed up. Some hadn't seen each other in 30 years. My current bestie had never met the others. Since it was close to Halloween she dressed as Velma. It was a blast!

@fantasy_art_z Yes. I've had simliar thoughts about messages on Linkedin. People pay to have messages sent out, usually for training or eduction. They want to see opens. Well, if I'm on my phone, the best way to delete is to open it first. I'm not reading it, but it gets opened.

I continue see a boosted post from someone every 20-30 posts. The same post that don't interest me at all. They shove it in my face. I muted the poster. It didn't help. I blocked the poster. Only then the boosted post vanished. It makes me wonder how many people blocked ME when x was boosting my post ... Stupid strategy for boosting, isn't it, showing it again and again to the same people just to count the supposed views...
