Someone built a fitness app using the same psychological mechanics as gambling This might work better than every normal fitness app 😭😭 You bet money on whether you’ll hit 10,000 steps today If you fail, you lose your money If you succeed, you split the money from everyone who didn’t So disciplined people literally profit off lazy people Most fitness apps try motivating you with streaks and notifications This one motivates you with financial fear Imagine realizing at 11:52pm you still need 1,700 more steps or you lose $30 Entire friend groups would be outside walking laps around their neighborhood before midnight trying not to lose their steppa challenge It sounds stupid but this would probably motivate people better than any other fitness product Would you use this yourself?

🚨 BREAKING: Kraken acquires Reap for $600M. Stripe bought Bridge for $1.1B. Mastercard bought BVNK for $1.8B. Now Kraken buys Reap for $600M. $3.5B in stablecoin infrastructure M&A in 14 months. Every category of payments company is racing to own stablecoin rails before they become as foundational as card networks. Reap is Hong Kong-based, founded in 2018, already profitable. They issue Visa corporate cards funded by stablecoins, run cross-border settlement, and serve 22,000+ businesses across Asia. ---- To me it looks like Kraken paid for distribution and licenses in Hong Kong, Singapore, and Mexico. Not for technology they could build in-house. Stablecoins and payments aren't cyclical unlike crypto trading. In a bear market Spot trading margins are collapsing. Every cycle, the spread gets thinner. Exchanges that thrive need recurring revenue from services, not transaction fees from speculation. --- Kraken has now spent roughly $2.7B on acquisitions. - NinjaTrader ($1.5B for derivatives). - Bitnomial ($550M for options). Backed (tokenized equities). And now Reap for stablecoin-powered B2B payments. That looks like a company assembling the pieces of a diversified financial services firm ahead of an IPO. The stablecoin infrastructure land grab is accelerating because B2B stablecoin payment volumes went from under $100M/month in early 2023 to over $3B/month by 2025. A 30x increase in two years. Processors want it (Stripe). Card networks want it (Mastercard). And now exchanges want it too (Kraken). The acquirers keep paying premium prices for the same thing: multi-jurisdictional licenses and live enterprise clients. The regulated plumbing. The stablecoin stack is consolidating fast. And the companies buying it are the ones who understand that the money is in moving money, not trading it.

🇨🇴 Colombia makes Open Finance mandatory Colombia makes Open Finance mandatory through Decree, requiring financial institutions to share customer-authorized data through standardized APIs, positioning the country as one of the most advanced markets for Open Finance adoption in Latin America. The Superintendencia Financiera de Colombia has six months to publish implementation standards and twelve months to launch a participant directory, after which each institution will have twelve months to enable access to each data category. The regulation is expected to improve credit risk assessment and financial inclusion by enabling more personalized product offerings for a population where a significant share still lacks access to formal credit.

Revolut injects another $64M into Mexico — 290,000 customers in just 9 weeks. Revolut has injected another $64M into its Mexican banking subsidiary in April, lifting its total investment in the country to $167M. After launching full banking operations on 27 January 2026, the company already reports over 290,000 registered Mexican customers for Q1. Deposits reached MXN 3,753M (~$200M), driven by competitive interest-bearing accounts. The credit portfolio grew by MXN 44M in low-risk Stage 1 assets, with more than 12,000 active credit card clients. Asset quality remains pristine: the non-performing loan ratio (IMOR) is just 0.02%, with 99.98% of credit in Stage 1. Liquidity and capital are equally strong — Liquidity Coverage Ratio at 1,531% and Capitalisation Index at 141.6%. As expected in the heavy investment phase, Revolut Mexico posted a MXN 153M net loss in Q1, fully in line with plan. CEO Juan Miguel Guerra Dávila said, "The response of Mexicans has exceeded our expectations. Clearly, there exists a great appetite for a banking application that offers everything in one place." Looks like Revolut is executing a textbook challenger bank entry in Mexico — investing capital for growth, maintaining strong capital ratios, and seeing good customer uptake — despite the expected early losses. But still, it has a huge mountain to climb to become the dominant bank in the country. Let's see if momentul holds. Nubank reported weeks ago that it had reached 15 million customers in Mexico.

@recouso So it’s up to you if you didn’t check the gym hours before enrolling. There are many gyms open before 10 am. Coffee shops don’t allow laptops cause there are so many tourists that businesses can’t afford someone scrolling for hours ;) so yeah.

Okay guys, had a few cultural shocks in Spain: > Go to the gym, opens 10am on a Sunday > Go to work from a coworking, closed > Go to a coffee shop, no wifi Absolutely unthinkable in a barely productive economy like the US, yet alone UAE. Europe is a daylight museum.

I just built a Claude Code marketing skill stack that plans campaigns, writes social posts, designs carousels, and produces animated videos from a single brief every week. Feed it your brand design system, your best-performing content, and a campaign brief → it studies your voice and visual identity → generates on-brand assets across every format while you review and approve. All inside Claude Code and Claude Design. Perfect for marketing teams and agency owners who are still briefing designers on assets Claude Design produces in minutes, calling skills one at a time when one brief should trigger the whole sequence, and manually pushing skill updates to teammates who need the same system running on their machine. If you're running marketing in 2026, you already know the math - the teams that produce at volume aren't the ones with the biggest budgets, they're the ones with a skill stack that handles execution while humans handle strategy. Most teams ship three assets a week if they're lucky. This skill stack solves it: → Drop your branded landing page into Claude Design and it extracts colours, typography, components, and spacing into a portable skill file every other skill calls automatically → The campaign planning skill reads the brief, researches the market via Perplexity MCP, and builds a branded slide deck with KPIs, persona, funnel map, and roadmap → Pulls from your best-performing posts and storytelling framework as reference files so social content matches what actually works in your space → Routes complex tasks to sub-agents running in parallel and simple executional tasks directly to skills based on routing rules in CLAUDE.md → Fires completed skills to a Notion library automatically every week at 9am so your team always has the latest version without manual uploads → Drops finished campaigns, posts, carousels, and videos into dated project folders ready to publish No briefing designers on assets Claude produces in minutes. No calling skills one at a time when a brief should run the whole sequence. No manually distributing skill files to teammates every time something updates. What you get: - Brand design system extraction guide: 10-15 minutes to a portable skill file every other skill calls automatically - Four function skills: campaign planning, social content, carousel design, and animated video each triggered by a slash command - Multi-skill orchestration setup so one brief triggers research, content, creatives, and landing page in the right order automatically - Notion skills library with auto-sync routine so your team always installs the current version from one place - One skill stack you install once and run across every marketing workflow forever Built 100% in Claude Code and Claude Design. I put together a full playbook with all skill files, the brand extraction guide, the Notion library setup, and the exact CLAUDE.md routing rules to get the full stack running from one brief. Want it for free? > Like this post > Comment "MARKETING" And I'll send it over (must be following so I can DM)

Revolut is building Private Banking services in Switzerland. In addition to signals that it's setting up a dedicated banking team in Switzerland and plans to apply for a local banking licence, Revolut’s job advert for Head of Legal (Swiss Private Bank) reveals that the company intends to compete with the likes of UBS and offer Swiss Private Banking and wealth management services. Job responsibilities include preparing customer-facing documents, providing day-to-day advisory on trading and investment products, and handling the marketing and promotion of those products. Requirements include: 10+ years of experience in wealth and trading, plus strong expertise in advising on Switzerland’s Financial Services Act (FinSA), Financial Institutions Act (FinIA), Anti-Money Laundering Act (AMLA), and Banking Act (BA). This is the first concrete indication of Revolut’s private banking plans in #Switzerland. The company had earlier indicated that its private banking service is planned to roll out first in the EU, then in the UK, probably in 2027.

A LATAM stablecoin neobank just raised $70M from Sequoia and Founders Fund. ARQ, formerly DolarApp, is serving 2M+ users with $10B+ in annualized volume. When top-tier US funds back a LATAM fintech at this scale, the market signal is clear. USD-denominated savings and transfers for everyday LATAM users is not a niche anymore.
