This shows the importance of opposition! We now need this Assembly majority to translate into tangible action for Lough Neagh as well as the other many inland waterways across the North that are already so badly damaged & in dire need of help.

Just 3 months ago SF & DUP voted down a major part of the plan to save Lough Neagh. Despite good intentions, Alliance was unable to get its Executive colleagues to support it. Today @SDLPlive built an assembly majority for this key part of saving Lough Neagh. Opposition matters!

Following the Down Schools Skills competition Michael and Sara have been chosen to play a mini football game at the Ulster Final in Clones in May and a mini camogie game at one of the All Ireland Hurling Semi Finals in Croke the first weekend in July. Congratulations 👏☺️

Hello everyone. It’s Nicole here (Sean’s wife) I wanted to let you all know that unfortunately Sean passed away yesterday, suddenly and unexpectedly. Sean was a fierce advocate for disability rights, it was his passion and his calling. He never stopped fighting for the rights of disabled people. He faced many battles in his life, and took them all on with strength and resilience I have never seen before. As many of you know and may have worked with Sean, he was intelligent, funny, warm…I could go on. Sean was also a loving and devoted husband, father, son and brother. He loved and was loved by many. As you can imagine, we are all utterly heartbroken. Keep fighting the good fight in Sean’s memory - it’s what he would have wanted. Nicole
