@RandomSecretary I was the only one waiting at the dealership for mine at 8:30 am. They put them on a then tell me 2 are leaking at the stem and they have to order the replacement parts 🤦‍♀️ hope I don't get a flat before they come in

@simoncholland I cut open a garbage bag and put it on the ground outside. We carved outdoors again this year. Less kitchen flor mopping required for clean up.

The hardest thing about carving a pumpkin these days is finding a newspaper to spread out on the table.

@DrBradJohnson I went to school in Finland the year I was 13. From what I remember, everyone took Finnish, and learned Swedish, and 3rd language. I had to learn to knit a pair of socks as part of one class. The math I struggled with that year, I didn't see again until Grade 10 advanced math.

We spend 50% more hours in school than Finland. They have NO standardized tests until PISA in HS and they outperform us every time. They have multiple recesses daily, & options like crafts, home Ec, PE, Arts. etc. And teachers have more control over teaching than politicians!

@BadWeatherKyle I thought I had what I thought was the worst cold ever in September, turned out 5 days later it was actually covid when I tested a second time

Anyone else experiencing a cold from hell these days? Had a killer sore throat at night for many days, then the head congestion (and a cold sore!), and now the cough with continuing congestion. Energy and appetite remain. End of day 7 - this is the longest cold I've ever had.

I was pulled from my Core Arts position today (double prep provider) to cover a classroom today. We have 5 prep teachers. I'm the last to get pulled. That means there were 5 unfilled postings for supply teachers at my school today. students. This is not sustainable.
