No team member accounts were compromised. In the end, this was completely on a domain service provider, which has accepted full responsibility.
We will be refunding all users 110% of the money that was stolen, meaning they will receive 10% more than they lost to make up for the situation.

BONKfun is back and here’s what happened 👇 On March 11, the BONKfun website was hijacked by a malicious actor via a social engineering targeting our domain service provider. This resulted in the domain being transferred to an external registrar. The domain service provider has accepted responsibility for transfer, and we have confirmed this incident was not the result of any compromise of BONK or BONKfun internal systems, codebase, or team accounts. Upon identifying the breach, we immediately took action to: 1) Disable the site 2) Coordinate with wallet providers to flag the domain as malicious 3) Contain further user impact We’d like to thank @phantom, @solflare, @MetaMask, @_SEAL_Org and all other security partners that helped spread the word quickly. We estimate the total customer losses at $30,000 and we will be reimbursing affected users at 110% of losses to account for opportunity cost. As a result of this social engineering on the domain service provider, the BONKfun domain was transferred to an external registrar, and that transfer greatly inhibited our ability to move quickly with relaunching the site in a secure manner. The domain and domain registration were fully transferred back around 5:00 pm Eastern time on 3/18. Full functionality with major wallet providers was restored late on 3/19, which has now enabled us to safely and securely relaunch the site. The main BONKfun domain is still experiencing flags from several antivirus software providers, we are working to remove these flags as soon as possible. For users experiencing issues with BONK.fun due to anti-virus software, letsBONK.fun is also live now and contains the same functionality as the main site.

In your post you mention that mass deploys are an issue.
This update should act as an incentive to NOT mass deploy since devs won’t be earning creator fees any longer, so their expected return decreases. As a result, I expect to see many people returning to trading instead of deploying (but let’s see ofc)

you're ignoring what I'm saying. if every interface integrates this feature, then all traders get a cashback which is equivalent to the trading discount they would've gotten in other words, this feature does exactly what you're asking for. on another note, pump fun has a strong incentive for there to be runners and success cases in the ecosystem. if ceilings get lower, it ultimately results in lower activity, which results in lower rev

I escaped the UK
Moving to Dubai was the single best decision I’ve ever made. What is left of Europe is not what it once was. It’s a crime ridden, tax slave, corrupt hell scape.
I’ll never return to my home country. You might call me a “hypocrite” for becoming an immigrant myself but the issue is not immigration it’s who the immigrants are as people.
The UAE has the tightest immigration laws and checks in the world where only 5% of Dubais population are local Emirati’s, so why don’t they complain they’ve been over run with foreigners? I’ll tell you why, because they don’t let the bad ones in. You have to be able to sustain yourself if you want to live here, there’s no government hand outs. You also must have been an exemplary citizen of where you previously came from and even pass medical tests.
Europe faces a cost of living crisis, traitors in government, lawless streets and effective self destruction all in the name of “inclusivity and empathy”. It’s beyond saving and I’m not going down the with ship while the captains are purposefully steering into an iceberg at full speed (likely blackmailed/alternative motive).
I beg all Europeans to consider taking a leap of faith and move outside of the continent. It doesn’t have to be Dubai. Singapore is another great option, Hong Kong also great, Japan are very strict on immigration as well and have honour to maintain a good life for their citizens. America will likely face the same fate as Europe over time so personally I’d avoid it but for now it’s better than Europe.
We live in one of the most pivotal points in all of human history and all you have to do is pick a place to live that could survive the fall of western civilisation.
