To British Sikhs. You have been good friends and allies to the British for many decades now. I’ve personally had good friendships with Sikhs in my life and pretty sure they never carried proper knives (at least nothing bigger than a slightly oversized charm)… However you’ve been given 80 years of accommodation to do your cultural knife thing. The British natives who are now feel at a crisis point ask for one simple compromise which is simply for you to be treat the same as them under the law. If you can’t do that after all this time… well sorry to say but it sounds to me like integration is impossible for you guys.
