@GiveBloodNHS I know you only collect cancellation reasons for statistical reasons, but, it'd be quite cool if you could also pass that detail in some way to the systems that decide who you chase donors for new appointments.

@skuberfacts @anon_opin Also depends on the building construction. Due to the big open spaces, there's often very few supports in mid-sections of the roof, so you have to be careful about adding more load and reducing all the spare capacity built for wind/rain/snow loads etc.
English

@anon_opin I’ve always wondered, if solar is efficient and cost effective why don’t supermarkets have them covering their roofs?

@TLRailUK So was it expected to call at ECR on its amended schedule?
Station announcements suggested it was, but, it ran through at line speed.
English

@Lcawte Hi there, this train was altered at 17.08 to run fast from East Croydon to Gatwick Airport and Brighton only and journey planners were updated. ^Ben
English

@TLRailUK 9S43 (originally the 16:59) was announced at ECR as calling but running fast, stopping at GTW and BTN only. Seems the messaging got a little muddled - non-stopped ECR - was this the plan?
English

@TLRailUK Nope, sorry.
Should be reasonably easy to remove, will probably peel right off. Didn't look particularly offensive, just obscuring safety posters. As I didn't have gloves, I wasn't going to risk it myself with all the safety advice notes (NRA24-02 etc) out there.
English

@Lcawte Hi Lewis, thanks for raising this. We'll get this flagged with our fleet team. I don't suppose you were able to take a photo? ^Kirsty

@TLRailUK Safety notices defaced on 700140 - 410140 car, above A1/A2 doors.
Looks like someone's applied their own stickers.

@goatpurple1 @d_feldman @the_transit_guy A number of European companies/teams are involved in all the bidding consortium.
English

@d_feldman @the_transit_guy I know US can't practically build high-speed rail. Maybe Canada can, or just hire Europeans.
English

@AbraLincoln09 @allen_goode @d_feldman @the_transit_guy Not the political will for it in Canada either?
English

@allen_goode @d_feldman @the_transit_guy They are looking at it. It's the HFR. It's pretty much never going to be a high speed rail.

@Trying_Very @LouHaigh @mayorterekhov The tender is for Transport Planning - ie, consultancy into what network they're looking to build/restore.
I'd expect that for Ukraine tenders, weight might be given to those firms "giving" by not taking regular margins on these contracts.

One of those days with public transport it seems. Very rare to be this disrupted, but, every single leg of this trip to Birmingham has had some sort of delay.
On the plus side, I'm getting to check out one of @AvantiWestCoast's new 805 sets as a result 👍

@TheMexicanMoose Riga, Vilnius and Warsaw. And the journey along the way.
English

@TLRailUK Automated announcements are being played with by gremlins on 101 tonight. Absolutely random it seems, leading to a lot of confused passengers.
(It was Brooklands Park, not a station beginning with D, we got it on the approach to TBD again)
