"I understand the skepticism," said God of War Laufey director Ariel Lawrence, but she hoped players would "give it a chance and be excited to play." kotaku.com/god-of-war-lau…

@OliLondonTV They can all go to hell for what i care. And take "their extended family" with them.
English

Grandmother of Henry Nowak’s killer COMPLAINS that her family are “living in fear” and are considering leaving Southampton but “don't have anywhere else to go.”
Bimla Kaur has complained that her family may never return to their “house again” after her grandson stabbed Nowak to death.
“It's not safe for them to be in their home because it was targeted the other night and it's only a matter of time before it is attacked again…I'm not sure if they'll ever return to that house again.”
The grandmother of Vickrum Digwa has said the family are “living in fear” following outrage over the families involvement which includes the killers mother hiding the knife used to stab Nowak.
“We're all living in fear because we've also had some threats and are worried that we might also get attacked.
But we've been in this city a long time, our whole extended family is here, and we don't have anywhere else to go.”

Wow..

@Comrade_Del The cube will promise her a cake if she ends the trials. Do not fall for it...
English

The only reason the cube is there and why the sword - I'm sorry, the sword ribbons - are talking is for them to treat you like a retard if you don't solve a puzzle within 4 seconds and instantly give you the solution.
That and every moment of silence will be filled with quippy marvel dialogue between the ribbons and the cube so the players wouldn't fall asleep if nothing exciting happens.

After looking at it again this shit here completely kills whatever interest I had in the game.
English

@SpawnYaardReply Companions ruined most of modern games. Players cant focus and play alone, so they need a constant disttaction to "ease the tension" and dont get bored.
English

I can't take this Cube(Frank) seriously man irrespective of how much I love God of War.
Trying to learn about its lore:
The talking cube companion in Laufey is named Phranque (called "Frank" by some). Voiced by Jack Quaid, he is an earnest cosmic cube native to the "Everywhen" the game's afterlife.
Rather than being an ancient deity or a Norse myth, he is living geometry, a conscious manifestation of reality trying to bring order to the chaos of the multiverse.

OK. Seguro.

@isaacrrr7 Violar, matar infieles, invadir otras culturas...

Descansa, y luego 12-13-14. Bienvenido a este viaje maravilloso!
Español

@_kickface_ Wasnt Faye the reason why Kratos is no longer a killing machine? So....why would you play as her as "god of war"? Its seems silly .
English

God of war laufey gameplay and graphics looks amazing. Adding in a quirky cube, a goofy animal sidekick and lots of pink and purple looks extremely stupid. Not to mention the time wasted making this instead of continuing kratos and atreus story. Hell even a atreus spin off would've been better for the overall story. Damn shame #StateOfPlay
Culture Crave 🍿@CultureCrave
Faye will officially star in a new 'God of War' spinoff game 🎮
English

By 2050, one out of every four people on Earth will be African.
The continent has the youngest population in the world, with a median age of 19.
So the question isn't whether Africa matters. It's what kind of future those young people are going to live in.
If they can't find jobs where they are, they're going to migrate.
And no border wall on earth will stop millions of people looking for a decent life.

@fezzaririder @visegrad24 Thats what you do when you invade a city. You destroy everything ouf of spite. Just because the city conquered means nothing to you. Paris is theirs, they will pillage and destroy it...and then? They move on. Because they thrive in decaying cities.
English

Ok. For the sake of argument agree that Paris is theirs.
Now what? What exactly are they going to do with the city? If their home countries are any indication, they will turn the whole of Paris into a 3rd world hellscape.
This is what I cannot understand.
These people come to the West from terrible places; places that are dirty, dangerous, corrupt, decaying, and decrepit. Rather than thanking God for escaping to the West they proclaim their intention to take over.
Why? They have proven that they cannot create or maintain what we have created so why take over? So that our cities and countries devolve?
It makes no sense.

🇫🇷 The iconic statue of Joan of Arc in Paris was vandalized by the son of an Algerian singer who shouted, "Paris is ours," during the riots that ensued over the past weekend following PSG's victory over Arsenal.
Anyss Benkaima, the unrecognized biological son of Algerian singer Cheb Khaled, was filmed climbing the iconic equestrian statue of Joan of Arc at the Place des Pyramides in Paris, shouting provocative statements like "Paris is ours" and other insults directed at France and French people.
There is nothing French about the people who celebrated PSG's win in Paris, nor does the way they devastated the streets of Paris align with French values.
There is nothing victorious about the way Paris plunged into apocalyptic scenes with French cultural heritage being damaged by young men of foreign backgrounds who expressed anti-French and anti-Western attitudes.
