Former LDS. Followed failed truth claims into apostolic Church Fathers and found no great apostasy. The Church Christ founded still exists. Sharing my journey.

Mormons believe that the atonement took place in the Garden of Gethsemane, where, they believe, Jesus bled from every pore suffering the sins of the world. But in Luke we read, "And being in agony, He was praying very fervently; and His sweat became like drops of blood, falling down upon the ground." Yet it is noted that early manuscripts did not contain this passage. Nevertheless, did Jesus actually bleed out his pores, or was his sweat so profuse that it was like blood pouring from a wound. Either way, this is yet another example of false Mormon theology. The atonement, the debt paid for sin, was done at the Cross. That's Christianity 101. Isaiah 53:5 "But He was pierced for our offenses, He was crushed for our wrongdoings; The punishment for our well-being was laid upon Him, And by His wounds we are healed." Mormonism is NOT Christianity!

🚨 JUST IN: President Trump personally supports retired US Marine James Capers Jr., 88, and awards him the MEDAL OF HONOR Incredible moment ❤️🇺🇸

We confess that Jesus Christ, the Only Begotton Son of God, the Eternal God, the Creator of all things in Heaven and Earth was born of the Virgin Mary, preached repentance Atoned for the sins of all mankind, was crucified, died and rose the third day and is the only name by which salvation cometh. Doesn't sound antichrist according to the New Testament, does it?

A demon told your leader creeds are an abomination? Sounds like we should double down on the creeds..

@realDrTT Spiritual work of mercy - instruct the ignorant and counsel the doubtful. You can love LDS while still being completely truthful with them. It is not gatekeeping to point out false religion.

@OhThats_Good @SSD_2X @sister_slay So you cite D&C 89 but don’t believe it. Prophet are fallible. Canonized scripture trumps words of a fallible man. If they wanted to canonize the words of the prophet, they could.
