There's only one way I'd be ok with the Free Willy remake. They feature Wikie and Keijo in an effort to get them the fuck out of Marineland. I doubt it would inspire the same push today as it did for Keiko but it might get enough attention to petition SeaWorld to take them.
Meet Sitara! 🐅⭐ One of five tigers abandoned at a private facility after years of inadequate care. This rescue, in partnership with @peta, began over a decade ago with the closure of a facility known for mistreating its animals.

Sloth Update 🦥 – We’ve received so many questions about Mr. Ginger, the smallest and youngest sloth in the group. He is still in critical condition and in intensive care, but we couldn’t help but share a few cute photos. Thank you, Central Florida & beyond, for your support.

We are saddened today to share the passing of Bandit, the sloth who arrived at the Zoo in the most critical condition. Our efforts now remain on the other sloths in our care, all of whom are currently in stable condition. Latest updates can be found at: bit.ly/4e6EaYv
Our mystery kit from last nights post is indeed a PINE MARTEN! 😳
One of the UK’s rarest native mammals - part of the mustelid family (alongside otters, weasels, and badgers). They’re agile climbers, spending much of their time in trees, and are known for their beautiful chocolate-brown fur and distinctive creamy “bib” on their chest.
Pine martens were once widespread across the UK but suffered huge declines due to habitat loss and persecution. Thankfully, populations are slowly recovering in some areas, with this kits admission a sign of that.
For this little one unless we’re incredibly lucky enough to find another kit of a similar age (which is rather unlikely, but you never know), he’ll remain with us until late August. At that point, we’ll work with other organisations to find a safe and suitable release site for him.
A truly special admission for all of us at Vale Wildlife Hospital🥹.
🦥 Sloth update: Bandit, the sloth previously mentioned in guarded condition, continues to face difficulties with his health.
It’s one tiny step at a time for Bandit, but we’re giving him the best care we can.
