@YoshiSZNs Don’t blame NFL, blame KC’s purposeful choke and the Bengals not being able to beat a crappy Patriots team on day 1.

@CFBRep This seems to be in part because of authorities on the ground. I’m guessing 4:00 start ends the game about 7 or 8 barring OT, less moving around at night and can direct people straight back to hotels/home. Also gives more time to set up extra security at Superdome.

@PatMcAfeeShow This is literally the same as the basketball bracket, and no one complains that #1’s have to play an 8/9 seed in round 2. Make it make sense.

@NewEraZach Burrow has been to the Bowl. The other two have made it to the Championship and fallen to KC. Only Burrow’s Bengals have a winning record against Mahomes’ KC, reg season + post. Lamar and Josh need to close, then the conversation changes.

“Lamar doesn’t have a ring yet he sucks!!” Active players with rings -Mahomes - 3 -Rodgers - 1 (old head) -Flacco - 1 (old head) -Stafford - 1 (old head) -Wilson - 1 (old head) -Jackson - 0 -Allen - 0 -Burrow - 0 So when you really break it down only ONE new gen QB has rings… Yet Lamar is the only one who gets crucified for not having one yet. #RavensFlock

@FarenellPhoto @DKnight9630 But that was the point - Magneto could have done this to Wolvie at any time. That he was finally doing it showed how much things had devolved. Xavier’s mindwiping makes sense in context - Magneto without restraint was too dangerous to live but he couldn’t kill him.

@DKnight9630 Fatal Attractions was fine but X-Men #25 was pretty nonsensical. The assault team going after Magneto has 2 characters who have metal which Mag can EASILY neutralize. So what do they do, send in Wolvie to get his metsl ripped out during a melee.

𝐌𝐓𝐆: 𝟏𝟗𝟗𝟑 Lobdell & Nicieza settle into a groove as the X-Men celebrate their 30th anniversary. Poor one out for Illyana Rasputina thanks to the Legacy Virus. Fatal Attractions is the crossover of the year and has major repercussions for the franchise. 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞: 𝐀-

@JBurtonSZN Pop Warner defenses would have looked good against that Browns yesterday. They were the Cleveland Browniest. Let’s not judge our D in any way by that metric.

Idk how accurate I did this, but if the chargers lose out, and we win out, wouldn't that mean we snag the 7th seed?

@butleriano The fact that an Army player just hit the transfer portal puts paid to this sentiment. This is only true of juniors and seniors who have signed service agreements.

@dannykanell I get that loyalty is a two-way street, and coaches leave to chase money and opportunity all the time. Yet another problem. But at least their moves don’t make a sham of the academic nature of student-athlete.

@dannykanell Agreed. At football’s inception, school mattered more. You were a Harvard man who played football, not a football player who went to Harvard. “College” football is a misnomer anymore and should be divorced from college altogether.

If you are going to enter the transfer portal just go. It's your right. Go get your $$$. But can we please stop with the lengthy love letters professing "I'll always be a __________" and how much you love your coaches and teammates??? No...you won't be. No...you don't.

@dannykanell If that is so, decouple playing football from the academic realm for those who don’t care. Take a salary like a pro and accept free agency and trades like one. If school matters, you don’t get to transfer. You get a scholarship over someone else, that matters.

@dannykanell The only reason the system is set up as is is because it is tied to the academic calendar, which frankly is the least relevant thing to transfers. Pursuit of money and game snaps is more important.

@bensmithlive The spring water at Bath in England naturally contains both sodium and bicarbonate along with other healthy minerals like iron and magnesium. People “took the waters” there for upset stomachs and other ailments for centuries. Now we know why.

BAKING SODA is the most overlooked medicine on Earth. It fights cancer, kills inflammation, and reduces stress—yet costs pennies per dose. Recently, I’ve been digging into its healing properties. What I found is mind-blowing: 🧵

@offbeatorbit Not even syndication. In late 80’s/early 90’s, NBC had five prime time Black centered sitcoms. TCS, Different World, 227, Amen, Fresh Prince. All great shows, all well placed on the schedule. Hell, TCS and DW were Thursday Must-See-TV with Cheers and Seinfeld!

It's actually crazy how much black sitcoms (for adults and kids) were so popular and mainstreamed to the point of being a formative part of so many people's childhoods--of all backgrounds--in the US through the 90s and early 00s and then they just... stopped getting made.

@kaseyklimes Teen-oriented businesses have a negative connotation now. Few people want to police teen behavior/be held responsible for things happening on their premises with unsupervised minors. See rise in curfew/chaperoning rules at malls, amusement parks, etc.

@bendreyfuss Forcing blacks into unwarranted roles in historical pieces set in Europe is one of the most political things a piece of media can currently do. Everyone implicitly knows this and this is 100% why people like you always defend it.

Sorry what part of Gladiator 2 is “woke”? Protagonist is a straight white dude who embodies the “traditional masculinity” these guys supposedly go for. There’s like only one woman with a speaking part in the movie. Do they literally just mean because it has Denzel?
