Humax's new Aura EZ is the only standalone Freely box that can also record (from the aerial) - an interesting proposition on paper, and one that could fill a gap in the market. After two weeks of testing, here's what it's actually like to live with cordbusters.co.uk/humax-aura-ez-…

Sky's NOW has dropped its Entertainment price AGAIN - this time to £2.99/month ahead of HBO Max's March 26 launch. Whether that's a coincidence or a deliberate push to lock in subscribers before everything changes - you decide cordbusters.co.uk/hbo-max-sky-no…

Sky's NOW has just rolled out some of its most aggressive deals yet - including Entertainment and Boost together for £4.99/month. But with HBO Max arriving on March 26, there's a lot more to consider than just the price cordbusters.co.uk/sky-now-slashe…

@cordbusters Crazy that 4k is like 3x the price. Honestly wish companies wouldn't lock 4k behind high stream count tiers. I'd be happy with 1 device playing 4K and be done

@WeAreOpenreach Is there any way I can get in contact with Openreach directly to try and understand the issue & complain? Whilst I’ll be doing that with Sky, you’re leaving me without internet for 2 weeks, as I mentioned, surely that isn’t an acceptable time scale to be working to nowadays?

@WeAreOpenreach I’ve switched broadband from BT to Sky, was to go live on Tuesday. There’s been an EMS issue- I think. You’ve told Sky this will take up to the 16/02 to update on? Not actually guaranteed to fix. By then I’ll be 2 weeks without any internet. Any way to sort it?

Manhattan's £70 Freely box sold out in under 24 hours - the second time this has happened to a standalone Freely device in three months. Does the demand suggest viewers are ready to ditch aerials faster than anyone expected? cordbusters.co.uk/freely-box-sel…

@WeAreOpenreach @DebzD32 We're seeing this more and more in Livingston that the fibre isn't actually there yet but orders can be placed, this then requires civil works to come out and dig up the street and relay, then again for the next neighbour and so on

@DebzD32 Ahh okay, most of the time the work is completed before the order is placed but not on this occasion. We will not provide any updates here due to GDPR so we do ask that you keep in contact with your service provider and they will contact us if needed. ^Catherine

Scotrail, your SNP Government nationalised rail service, is slashing rail fares helping you to make ends meet. From 1 September 2025, you’ll pay the same train fare no matter the time of day or the day of the week you travel.

Why did @WeAreOpenreach go with GPON? Nice downloads, but uploads are stuck in the stone age. I’m paying for 1000/100 when @youfibre @JeremyChelot gives 2Gb symmetrical for the same money. In 2025 uploads matter just as much, cloud, work, gaming. Why are we paying more for less?
