@brrain @Takhar77 It’s actually funny how ignorant you are. Youre part of the hab fan base that cant be respected. I respect real hab fans/the history. You’re just not a realist at all. Theres more fairweather leaf fans than the whole hab fan base. And that segment doesnt make 10% of leaf fans

@Takhar77 They are not hockey fans is my point!! Leafs fans are not going to watch hockey tonight. Hockey fans of other teams in Canada will. So they don't have a need to put a Canadian team in action. The ratings will be the same.

🚨 WOW! Joe Rogan reveals President Trump IMMEDIATELY offered him FDA approval for a psychedelic treatment in a text chain Because the data was SO CONVINCING and STUNNING "I wanna tell everybody how this happened. I send President Trump some information." "With one dose of Ibogaine, more than 80% of people are free of that addiction. With two doses, it's more than 90%. I sent him that information." "The text message came back, sounds great. Do you want FDA approval? Let's do it. It was literally that quick!" "For 56 years, we've lived under those terrible conditions. We're free of that now." "We're free of that now, thanks to all these people that you see next to me, and thanks to President Trump!" — @joerogan

‼️🇮🇱🇹🇷 An explosive analysis warns Israel could consider a preemptive strike on Turkey if tensions spiral out of control. The scenario draws comparisons to the Six-Day War, when Israel launched a surprise attack to neutralize threats in hours. According to the analysis, rising tensions under Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and growing military capabilities could push Israel toward drastic action if it perceives an existential threat. Potential targets could include: • Turkish F-16 fighter jets and airbases • Drone production sites (including Bayraktar facilities) • Naval bases and fleets • Air defense and radar systems • Key military industrial infrastructure Experts say that if Israel believes its survival is at risk, it could strike first, fast, decisive, and overwhelming, to cripple Turkey’s capabilities before a full scale war begins. A conflict of this scale would shake NATO, redraw regional power dynamics, and risk a wider war across the Middle East. Source: 19FortyFive

@frank_seravalli Pretty sure any team with an ex gm as president has a gm in name only. Not sure what you’re so shocked about. Its a smoke screen so the presidents get a little bit of a longer leash

So, Patrik Allvin was “GM” in name only, Jim Rutherford drove the bus on nearly any consequential transaction, and he ran over Allvin today on the way out … then backed over him again. Just to be sure. I’d say it always ends bloody in Vancouver. But that’s devoid of leadership.

"I take full responsibility for the season," says Jim Rutherford. "I head up the hockey department, but I don't make decisions for other people and Patrik had the opportunity to make his own decisions." #Canucks

@JohnnyGiunta_ One plays center. One plays a 200foot game. Not the flex you're hoping for. Every GM would take 93 over 88 everyday.

Rutherford, “I’ve known for sometime that Quinn was not staying in Vancouver. I knew before the season started.” Then said he signed Boeser, Garland and others in hopes there was a last chance. “But I don’t think that was ever in the cards.” #Canucks @TSNHockey

@Leafslatest Your team quit on you after you threw each and every one of them under the bus in your post-game pressers. Fuck you.

Craig Berube expects to be back next year as head coach of the Maple Leafs and hasn’t heard anything about that from higher up. He says the Leafs still have a good core in place and that they could bounce back next year. “There’s a good core here… I do believe we can bounce back.” Via @lukefoxjukebox #leafsforever

@theearlofsports @Leafslatest Ex-fuckin-actly. Goalies played like shit all year. I would trade Willy for a couple other pieces that play up and down the whole ice though. Was his biggest supporter but the schtick is up.

@Leafslatest So the year before when they won the division and took the champs to a 7th game means nothing? All of you fans are delusional if you think a better coach is walking through that door

Did some digging, talked to a few people on Leafs front.. One thing that keeps coming up: Keith Pelley has his hands in everything. Where was this dysfunction last year under Shanahan? Hmm. Also, can confirm the Leafs didn’t wait until 20 minutes before the deadline to call teams (a McMann trade was reported before 2pm), and Berube & Treliving were always on the same page. Lots out there right now — not all of it adds up. @TLNdc

Nick Robertson believes there were a handful of things that held the Leafs back this year and ultimately cost them a playoff spot, including things like execution and buy-in, while Craig Berube doesn’t seem to agree with that. 🗣️Robertson: “There are a lot of reasons: lack of execution, emotion, and buy-in on everyone’s part, including myself.” 🗣️Berube: “I don’t think buy-in was an issue. We’re trying to play a certain way here. I don’t think that we fully grabbed that buy-in that way.” 🎥: @MapleLeafs #Leafsforever

@mcclxskey You got me thinking, contract wise, this was definitely JT best season for the leafs org. He averaged 15 points for every mil he made this season, the past 7 years he averaged around 7/8 points per mil

Did John Tavares deliver more value in all 7 years of his $11m AAV contract than Auston Matthews did in year 2 of his $13.25m AAV contract?

It's disappointing that Auston Matthews didn't go as far as Morgan Rielly in saying he wants to stay in Toronto without regard for the circumstances. But you can't simultaneously marvel at the dysfunction within the Maple Leafs organization and get upset that Auston Matthews is non-committal about his future.
