@emma_ebm We stayed in Toronto in the summer and did a Niagra day trip - was AMAZING! Definitely worth a visit however I wouldn't stay in Niagra itself as is quite tacky. We visited Niagra on the Lake on the same day and that was a lovely little town.

@SwailesRuth @amanda_spielman I'd be more for it if they taught it in a more financial sense that can be used in everyday life. Interest rates, mortgages, investing etc 🤷🏼‍♀️ my son's sixth form encourage them all to do one year 'core maths' as well as their A-Levels already.

@amanda_spielman It really isn’t. It would have put me off studying post 16 and probably changed my life, not for the better. It’s certainly not something my own 16 year old wants or needs to do. Where are all the extra maths teachers going to come from?

This is tremendously good news for our young people, for the prospects for the country and (with the right resources and lead time to build up to it) for our sixth forms and colleges.

Finally have the call from Ofsted for our childminding registration visit!!

WOW! This last few weeks I have been collecting donations from parents for The Clothing Bank and what an amazing amount we have put together! It's all bagged up ready to drop off on Thursday - thank you to everyone who brought something ❤️

@DavidN_Cahn @JoFreeRangePlay @REYALUK They aren't like other agencies which take a cut of your monthly wage and they have no say in the parents I take on, they are just there for any problems I have - if you want to ask any questions I would be happy to try answer them :)

@DavidN_Cahn @JoFreeRangePlay Sorry to jump on, I'm with @REYALUK agency and waited (I think 8 weeks for my visit - but they were also doing my DBS and checking my paperwork during that time) - yes I pay a monthly fee being with an agency but I am still an independent childminder with a world of support!
