The NFL’s viewpoint on adding more games to standalone windows, including Wednesdays, is that “more football for fans is only a good thing,” NFL executive Hans Schroeder said today. The league believes that is being validated by the ratings it continues to generate. At this point, the league does not appear to believe there’s a tipping point where it starts to feel excessive.

The fewest they’ve ever had on the network since it got the rights to the NFL in 1994. Also Tom Brady won’t do Falcons-Steelers. So he won’t do any of their games this year.
