Aston Villa gone full strength, regardless of their Europa League Final on Wednesday. It is 5 days away anyway though. They want to get CL wrapped up at the first possible chance [Tonight] I expected that, when a lot thought they'd rotate loads with one eye on the Final.

@JudgeharrisMick @Iromg I guess it means before the next election. Bookies do get it very wrong, I think they base their odds mainly on the betting coming in and ensuring they can't be bankrupted.

@lfcads2001 @frankonfootball @CalvLyfeson I get that, but just referencing Villa downing tools. Villa play before Bournemouth so they have to assume Bournemouth win, which is entirely possible. Add 5 days of rest for them and I expect a full strength team bar maybe McGinn

I'm not convinced that hits the boy's hand and not his head. How Beaton and Dallas can tell from that one angle I'll never know?
If there's other angles which show it clear then fair enough, but in absence of that then there's no clear evidence for a VAR award? @DaleJohnsonBBC

@DaleJohnsonBBC Dale, you must have the most satisfying and infuriating job in the world. To think you’d deliberately make up rules to somehow protect UEFA or The FA or simply to annoy fans it’s amazing. Not only that, to get employed to do so!!

There's an exemption within the handball law which says it should not be a penalty if the ball is unexpectedly kicked right at you by a teammate.
Even if your arm is away from your body.

@dhale85 @johngibbonsblog Yeah. I love the rules you learn as adults. More recently I learned that if you take a free kick and hit it back to your keeper, if he misses it, it’s NOT an own goal but a corner to the opponent…

You morally, spiritually and ethically can’t give a penalty if a defender is kicking it up the pitch and it hits his team mates arm

@joe5talin @joshtheprogame2 @rebekkarnold No I think it still needs to be considered ‘accidental’. Where as I guess a Bayern player had kicked it and it was stopped by his arm, that would then have fallen in the ‘unnatural position’ category.
