But I seriously don't see the harm, given the new state of geopolitics right now, to ask the people to make an informed decision for themselves.

So let's have another referendum then? Ten years on and people have practical experience of what being outside the EU actually means now.
If the 'will of the people' is still to remain outside the EU, no big deal, fair enough. If it's no longer the case, do something about it?
