@MotdBBC @wayne Why did you not even discuss the most blatant penalty that should ever have been given against Pablo of West Ham on Saturday?

@Lee060791260783 He deserves to be condemned for his disgraceful comments about those brave, life saving police officers.

@LeeKearley No, I'm stating that the daily mail hate Polanski so whether he said the Sun is yellow, grass is Green or that sarah Everads murderer is guilty they will find away to condemn him.

@Fozmeister1 @ReelHammerz Massively old school here too, or just old! Agree with all you said there, I just would love to know their reason for not giving that one. Be interesting to see what they say (if anything) on MOTD tonight.

@LeeKearley @ReelHammerz Fair play Lee. I appreciate your honesty. I’m a tad old school. I still believe in “intent”, “deliberate” and “diving” No time for “unnatural position”, “earned a penalty” and all that shite.

@Fozmeister1 @ReelHammerz Leave it out. Anywhere else on the pitch that is foul and a yellow card. He's wiped him clean out. Brentford's pen was nailed on. I don't just call this with bias.

@4rchieJH @ReelHammerz You can't possibly say it wouldn't have changed the game. 2-1 with 15 minutes to go and us with all the momentum. It could behave played out completely differently.

@ReelHammerz Tbf what else could he do he wasn’t really sliding for a tackle. He just slips and accidentally gets the player

@LeeKearley @Mattwoodruff_ That’s true, Jensen pulled his shirt I thought that was getting given but it didn’t. But after it not getting given I think it’s a bad challenge that could’ve been looked at.

@Mattwoodruff_ @freelander97 Watch the foul by Pablo at the end, the ref should have already vlown for a foul to West Ham as Summerville has his shirt grabbed from behind and is yanked backwards right beforehand.

@owenjonesjourno @RobertFillies1 The Greens have to be ready, the onslaught will be relentless, Zack Polanski must never apologise to bad faith actors. The Green Party must stand united, above all be prepared for the most outrageous and egregious attacks, don’t bring a knife to a gunfight.

A retweet by Zack Polanski is now the main story across every single media outlet. Two days ago, it was revealed that Nigel Farage failed to disclose a £5 million gift from a crypto-billionaire. It gets nowhere near the media attention, for straightforward political reasons.

@BethRigby @SkyNews @ZackPolanski Why not send the letter directly to Zack Polanski? Why post it on social media? He’s deliberately criticising a party leader on social media the week before an election. That’s interference. It’s a disgrace.

Mark Rowley on @SkyNews re his open letter to @ZackPolanski. “I'm not getting involved in politics. I'm dealing with operations. I need my officers to have confidence to tackle the most difficult and dangerous individuals. Of course, there's always going to be sort of, sort of eccentricity and nonsense online. “But if an eminent person steps into operational policing and, sort of criticises officers in a way that can undermine their confidence to act, I need to support that…. He has stepped into operational policing with his criticism & inaccuracies & I need to put that straight”

@SkySportsPL Horrendous decision clear red card If Thiaw brings Gyokeres down there he’s classed as the last man so how is it different that Pope brings him down with Thiaw behind him. 2 games on the spin out opponents should’ve had a red card and haven’t

The US wants to punish the UK and could reassess its support for the UK over the Falkland Islands, potentially giving leverage to Milei’s claims over the islands. Guys, let's be clear: The Falkland Islands are British. And their people overwhelmingly voted to remain British.

@5nowflakeMoon @jimmcerlean2025 @MosiniElisa They were no native tribes. It was an uninhabited rock. Spain had a naval base there for trade purposes, then withdraw. The UK then set up a Base there for the same reason. It has been British for 200 years, and the islanders have overwhelming voted to remain British. Never Arg.

Why is it racism, Saul? I used to be an intelligence operator. My job was to work out where the enemy was likely to be, so we could blow up that place with artillery; it's MUCH more efficient than simply firing shells around at random. Similarly, it's much more efficient for the police to search high-crime demographics than to randomly search people. It isn't racism. It's intelligence-led policing.

The children's commissioner says if you're black you're 8 times more likely to be strip searched, & if you're asian you're 5 times more likely, and "the strange thing is it doesn't map across high crime areas" It's not strange. Its racism.
