NATO does not exist without American dollars. They need us. We bankroll and protect them. NATO is American charity.

If Rayner walked into my child’s class and lied to their face, I would be livid! That is shameless scaremongering targeting children. This is not politics, it’s child manipulation and it’s disgusting.

@Shawn_Farash Beyond Iran. No one from Europe has helped us much since WW2. Which started in Europe. Since then it’s been us paying for the big stick that protects them. Fend for yourselves.

Europe legitimately feels like they're just entitled to US military assets... Meloni is crying that the US may withdraw troops from Italy. Merz is not happy that we may pull troops from Germany. Too F*CKING bad. You guys didn't do a single thing when we asked for the smallest bit of support with Iran. What kind of BS relationship is this?

@The_FJC i was stationed there in the 80's, we trained with them, there equipment was sub standard. i asked about it and they said they didn't care, we were there to protect them so why should they spend money to improve anything. so, yea, fuckem.

Germany called America's troop withdrawal "deeply concerning." This is the same Germany that spent 1.5% of GDP on defense. While America spent 3.5% defending them. For 80 years. "Deeply concerning." You know what's deeply concerning? Freeloading for eight decades and calling it an alliance.

IT’S HAPPENING 👀 Trump JUST spoke to Putin and said things were positive, and now Trump announces they are looking into reducing our standing army in Germany. Just as I hypothesized, Trump is reducing our military footprint in the Eastern Hemisphere, which will lead to normalized relations with Russia and China, and the end to the war in Ukraine. US Military presence in Germany is essentially the standing deterrent for all of Europe, and is Putin’s biggest threat, if NATO/Ukraine were to draw the US into direct conflict with the US MIL, which he does not want. Long story short, Trump looking to remove our standing military presence from Germany signals the coming of the end of US involvement in NATO, and thus the end of the war in Ukraine, and potentially the end of the Cold War with Russia that never really ended. Trump is beginning the process of consolidating our forces in the Western Hemisphere, and resetting the global order. Extremely good sign.

There's a lot of crap on Five Eyes, but this tops it. Five Eyes literally does protect US lives and national security, and supports US interests. No, the "Steele Dossier" wasn't "from" UK intelligence and our Home Secretary is British.

Can we stop with the marmalade thing. We can still use it it’s just we need to add “citrus” to marmalade as other fruits are used in the EU. Hardly newsworthy…

Truth nuke for Europe 🇪🇺: From a military standpoint, American security guarantees are worth 10 times more than French ones. America is - by far - our most valuable ally. We should treat them as such.

🚨 BREAKING: Sec. Marco Rubio just dropped TRUTH NUKES on the doubters for two minutes straight, and he said it perfectly He's so good at this. "Under NO circumstances can a country run by radical Shia clerics with an apocalyptic vision of the future ever possess nuclear weapons, and under no circumstances can they be allowed to hide and protect that program and their ambitions behind a shield of missiles and drones that no one can do anything about!" "Many Americans are asking, why did the United States have to attack Iran now? Well, let me EXPLAIN." "Iran wants to have nuclear weapons...they build their reactors and their facilities deep in mountains, away from the public glare, and they want to enrich that material." "Why the attack now? Well, what was Iran trying to do? Iran was trying to build a conventional shield, in essence, have so many missiles, have so many drones, that no one could attack them, and they were well on their way." "We were on the verge of an Iran that had so many missiles and so many drones, that no one could do anything about their nuclear weapons program in the future. That was an intolerable risk." "This was our LAST best chance to eliminate that conventional threat, that conventional shield that they were trying to build, and the president made the right decision to wipe it out now." "That is the goal of this operation, to destroy their conventional missiles and their drone program so they can't hide behind it, and finally have to deal with a world seriously about never ever having nuclear weapons." WELL SAID, MARCO 🇺🇸

The EU/UK navies between them have around 150 minesweepers. The United States has 4. Perhaps Hegseth should ask the US Navy why it hasn't got the capabilities that Europeans have in abundance.
Jared Szuba@JM_Szuba

US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth takes aim at allies for reluctance to join campaign to open the Strait of Hormuz: "It's not just the United States' Navy. Last time I checked there was supposed to be a big, bad Royal Navy," Hegseth says. "The world ought to pay attention, to be prepared to stand up."
