After posting a photo of me, I ended up getting some pretty horrible comments about my appearance, and I’ve been too scared to post a photo on here since… But I’ve decided I’m not gonna let nasty people dictate what I post - so here I am, unashamed of what I look like 😊

What monster do you not want to see return? We talk all the time about monsters we want to see return in the Wilds expansion so I thought it'd be fun to spin on this!

Psychology Today: "Transactive Memory" In a world of technology we have become increasingly reliant on external sources of memory like the internet and AI. Not so long ago if we needed to know something we found an expert and asked their advice, now we just "Google it". Transactive memory is the act of storing information somewhere else to save cognitive resources in our own brains. Instead of learning information students now simply recall that information from the internet, are we seeing a dumbing down of intelligence? And how do you counter this? We risk forging a future of "fake experts".

So pleased to see the BBC raising awareness of Sleep Apnea. I have severe obstructive sleep apnea myself, and my undergraduate dissertation was grounded theory lived experience research to increase CPAP adherence. Vital research, well done Dr Prina Ruparelia. #SleepApnea

The most underrated part of the GLP-1 journey? It’s not just the weight, it’s the "brain peace." 🧠✨ For many, these medications have silenced "food noise" for the first time in their lives. Imagine: 🚫 No more constant internal negotiation about what to eat next. 🚫 No more feeling like they are "morally failing" for a biological drive. ✅ Finally feeling full. ✅ Reclaiming the mental energy to focus on hobbies, family, and movement. It’s not a "shortcut"; it’s a tool that levels the playing field, allowing people to build a healthier relationship with food without the constant uphill battle (Wang et al., 2024). #GLP1Journey #Ozempic #FoodNoise #HealthTransformation #MentalClarity

The clinical utility of GLP-1 receptor agonists (RAs) is rapidly expanding beyond glycemic control and BMI reduction. 🩺 Recent longitudinal data highlights substantial multidimensional benefits: ❤️ Cardiovascular: A 2026 Aon study observed a 47% reduction in MACE hospitalizations among female users. ⚕️ Oncology: JAMA research indicates significant risk reduction in 10 of 13 obesity-associated cancers (OACs) compared to insulin. 🧠 Neuroprotection: Emerging evidence links GLP-1 RAs to reduced neuroinflammation and lower dementia risk. As we shift toward "Metabolic Health as a Service," the focus remains on long-term adherence and resolving the "food noise" mechanism via central nervous system modulation (Wang et al., 2026).

As March approaches I find myself struggling to get back into academic thinking. Having a break between degree and PhD has been tough. March 2nd cannot come soon enough. @TeessideUni is there a set day that I can come in and collect my student card? Is there an induction process? #TeessideUniversity

@monsterhunter can we talk Gogmazios Hunting Horns? Can we please get an update to roll echo bubbles or different songs? We've been channeled into resounding melody and we don't all want to play that way. Thanks.

GLP-1 usage and appetite regulation poses several risks within the context of eating disorders, something that we largely have yet to fully explore and understand. We still have little to no real understanding of the biopsychosocial processes of GLP-1 usage. Understanding these is now crucial, otherwise we risk facing a new eating disorder crisis on the horizon.

Yes there are clinical trials underway currently using GLP-1 medications to tackle obesity and diabetes, the criteria is very high to meet the trial standards but it is only a matter of time before it or rolled out. GLP-1 has a place in diabetes and obesity care, and perhaps even state funded, it reduces pressure on other health areas like cardiology, stroke and tier 3 weight management.

My PhD has never been more relevant. From Mechanisms to Meaning: Exploring Lived experiences of GLP-1 Receptor Agonist use to Inform Psychosocially sensitive care. The NHS is spending a lot of money on this trial and it will fail costing the tax payer dearly, we must now be present and ensure that patients are safeguarded and given psychosocially sensitive care pathways to ensure long term success.

@SophieRamshaw04 It's difficult, it's open to abuse from all angles sadly, I'm sorry you had that experience and it wasn't a positive experience. This is why we need better support from all angles

I don't normally get involved in politics but Keir Starmer is finished for me now, we should not be involved with Trump's anti democratic and illegal actions. Starmer needs to resign immediately and a new labour leader chosen.

Seriously, its just Psyllium Husk.. that's it, added Himalayan salt, and that's it. Don't buy this crap, it's fibre in powder form, that's what psyllium husk is. You don't need to buy crap like this, just eat more fibre, fibre naturally creates GLP-1, which regulates appetite and mood. #HealthPsychology

@Chinny_XP @aevanko I found Insect Glaive decent, just not a fan of the janky aiming for the essence collecting. Nothing feels as smooth as SnS, literally no idea what's going on with Long Sword, I have no sense of timing 😂

@aevanko I don't know what is wrong with me but I can use every weapon except the sword and shield. I just can't figure it out and I've been playing the series since freedom unite. It just doesn't compute for my simple great sword brain.

I have tried to make other sets but honestly, the Sword and Shield is just too good, I feel like I am fighting with intentional handicaps everytime i don't use it. Negatively i can say it ruined most other weapons for me, positively i can say that I think i found my main in Wilds
