@jenmercieca The only way out of this mess, for both legislation and jurisprudence, is to end the filibuster and grow the court. Relying on getting +/- 10 GOP votes is no way to legislate, and this SCOTUS will invalidate any good policy we manage to enact. Make the US majoritarian again.

The massacre at Robb Elementary in Uvalde and its cover up have made two things clear, AR-15s should be banned nationwide and Uvalde police as well as Texas fascist republican politicians need to face criminal charges for deliberately failing to save lives and covering it all up.

@JudiciaryDems You need to end the filibuster and grow the court. You can't get 10 GOP votes for good public policy, and even if you could this SCOTUS will scrap any good public policy that comes before it. Focus!

Our courts have too often in history been where justice is denied – rather than delivered. If we want to fulfill the promise of equal justice under the law, we need a federal bench that looks like America. President Biden and Senate Democrats are finally building that bench.
