The Heath sparkling wines are very interesting since they go beyond the traditional varietal boundaries and do it well. They have also learned what varietals grow best in Texas.

Flying from San Francisco to Houston this afternoon. Just flew over a combination solar and wind mill energy installation near Bakersfield. I could not detect one wind mill that was turning. I hope no one is 100% relying on those wind mills. At least it was very sunny.
