Before C18th, Paris had dozens of international colleges for different nations. Today, its "Cité Universitaire" keeps this spirit, but is too burst and off-center for an urban campus. The best would be a return of the old colleges w/ the garden twist of the CU, like in Cambridge.

Sans parler de ce qu'il a fait à Versailles à partir de 1772 : détruire les ailes du palais en brique avec leur toit d'ardoise et d'or, pour les remplacer par du néoclassique chiant qui casse complètement l'ensemble qui était cohérent en hauteur. Non vraiment #LouisXVHateAccount

For things to get better you must learn to hate this era too, we wouldn't be where we are today without that era of pure sedation via consumerism. For there to be any stasis or normalcy capitalism as a whole must be done away with, nostalgia if not used as a tool for what you want to actualize into the future becomes a tool of enslavement. You will never go back, you must focus on the future.
