Lord David Willetts speaks on the story of OECD AHELO and how it relates to the #learninggain debate. It’s very hard to detach subject knowledge and skills— so these measures do need to be discipline specific. We should not rule out the idea of comparing learning gain across HEIs

@soniailie conceptual model of #learninggain - crucially outcome measures show variation across time (u-shape) and between students - gains are not linear, they ebb and flows across time and are subject to a whole range of contextual differentiation factors.
