Legacy Token Update: A Goodbye and a New Beginning
Dear Legacy community,
Over the past months, our team has conducted a structured internal review to determine the most sustainable long-term path forward for Legacy and its mission.
During the early phase of the company, the $LGCT token was introduced as a utility-based mechanism to support ecosystem participation. As Legacy evolved, it became increasingly clear that operating a token alongside a global education platform introduced growing operational, regulatory, and strategic constraints.
In particular, expanding regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions significantly increased complexity and slowed our ability to enter new markets and form institutional partnerships. Independent of short-term market conditions, this led us to reassess whether a token-based structure was compatible with long-term scale and execution.
Importantly, this reassessment was not a reaction to recent events. Prior to the security incident, we were actively preparing the next phase of $LGCT expansion. This included finalized agreements with Tier-1 exchanges to open new spot and derivatives markets, as well as planned marketing initiatives with crypto-native partners and KOLs. These steps reflect that we continued to invest in, and believe in, the token’s development up until the very end.
The subsequent security-related incident involving third-party infrastructure did not cause this strategic shift. However, it highlighted and accelerated risks that had already been identified during our internal review. In addition, any meaningful attempt to recover the token would have required a sustained and significant allocation of financial, operational, and management resources. Given the prevailing market conditions and the structural limitations of token-based models, such an effort would not have been justifiable or aligned with the company’s long-term priorities.
After carefully weighing all factors, the team has decided to proceed with structural changes, including the discontinuation of token support within the Legacy ecosystem.
This decision allows us to fully focus our resources on our core mission:
changing how people experience learning, personal growth, and education, with clarity, trust, and long-term impact.
As part of this transition, $LGCT will be removed from the Legacy Academy app as a supported utility mechanism. Existing subscribers will retain their respective tiers.
We want to thank our community for being part of this journey, and we invite you to continue with us as Legacy enters its next chapter.

We are aware that recent developments around LGCT have raised questions and uncertainty among parts of the community. We would like to address these developments.
The information below reflects the facts that have been reviewed and can be confirmed at this time, while internal governance and legal assessments continue.
In recent weeks, LGCT experienced increased price volatility in a market environment characterized by limited spot liquidity. This coincided with an external security incident involving an account of Legacy at a third-party exchange. The incident did not involve any compromise of the company’s treasury assets or its on-chain, non-custodial wallet infrastructure.
Subsequent price movements occurred in the context of this incident as well as broader market reactions. These movements were not the result of any action, decision, or transaction carried out by Legacy Network or individual team members. The company’s operational activities continue.
Legacy Network is currently undertaking internal governance, legal, and regulatory assessments, including with respect to the future scope of token-related activities and communications. Until these assessments are completed, we are deliberately refraining from issuing further statements.
