$MSTR is a safer bet than Bitcoin itself. MSTR BTC yield 13% since the bottom in February. This means MSTR outperforms Bitcoin in Bitcoin terms even during bear markets. Why aren’t more Bitcoin maxis buying Strategy?

My 2 Cents is that the extra concentration of share issuance right before the ex div date, say 2B last week to holders which are just trying to arb the dividend, was probably all sold on the record date to stronger holders like yourself. Point being, We most likely will see 1% drops on div dates so long as they keep issuing aggressively.

👀 I noticed that $STRC traded a bit lower today (see photo👇). Whether due to going ex-dividend Friday, the weekend $BTC tumble, or bond volatility, I bought more. Hopefully @saylor of @Strategy gets it back to par this month and I will have made another 1% for May!🔥💪🙏

@JoshMandell6 Josh, we are aligned. I could also infer that the pref dividends are included in this slide but I assumed it wasn’t. Either way Strategy needs 1.22+ mNAV (which will move around as they retire converts).

I believe that 1.22x level marks the breakeven point where the MSTR market premium fully offsets the 11.5% STRC funding cost, leaving no net accretion spread before BTC per-share growth. Below this level, Bitcoin purchases result in negative carry. This framework encourages the firm to seek convex BTC yield accretion.
