We would like to provide a clear and complete explanation regarding this account termination. The account in question was flagged during a routine compliance review due to device matching between two separate trading accounts. During the investigation, the trader submitted a written explanation confirming that he had allowed his brother to use his registered device to access and manage trading activity on a separate FundedNext account due to a phone malfunction. Under FundedNext’s Terms of Service, device sharing between accounts, regardless of duration, household relationship or trading outcome, constitutes a direct policy violation. This rule exists to prevent account management, group trading and cross-account coordination risks. Enforcement does not depend on pip similarity, trade overlap or strategy comparison. The decision to terminate the account was based solely on the confirmed device-sharing admission. Subsequently, as a discretionary goodwill resolution, the trader was offered either: - A full refund of the challenge fee, or - A new account opportunity under standard conditions. The trader chose and received the full refund. This goodwill resolution does not invalidate or reverse the original compliance finding. At no point was the decision based on trade profitability, payout proximity or technical trade execution arguments. It was strictly a Terms-of-Service enforcement matter. FundedNext applies its policies consistently and without exception to all traders to maintain platform integrity and regulatory alignment. The case is considered closed.
