@TransfersToffee Unpopular opinion.. we'd be better off keeping Keane.. Stones is always injured. Better off having Tarky, Branthwaite and JOB as the first choice CB's with Keane as backup. The backup CB has to stay fit so they are available when you need them.

Everton would like to replace Michael Keane with John Stones in the summer. Stones is available for free and the club have a good relationship with the player and his agent. Keane new contract only offered if we fail to replace. Shame for Vincent as I like his attitude. Thanks 💙

Not into this one, even as a 4th choice, understand the principle that it means we save £ on spending for a back up option but the fella is a calamity and always has been.

Stopgap being that Armstrong and Tim need loans, IMO, and getting someone like Ndidi in could cover that. Gives Armstrong and Tim chance to play regular football as can't see either starting every week for us.

I do get the idea of signing a stopgap midfielder (links to Longstaff) to allow Harrison Armstrong and Tim Iroegbunam to go on loan, but still think a top-level CM is required on top. Would Wilfried Ndidi (£9m release clause) not be a better option than Longstaff though?
