@JuliaHB1 Did Kemi mention where all these houses are that everyone is going to be moving into? Plus, first time buyers don't pay stamp duty on properties less than £300k currently. This policy doesn't help them save a £30k deposit whilst majority of income is going on rent and bills.

It doesn't matter that the next election is in 2029. It doesn't matter where the Tories are in the polls or whether Kemi Badenoch is the Tory leader or not. What matters is that now NO political party can win the next general election unless they promise to abolish stamp duty.
