I oppose a draft on the grounds our Unalienable Rights recognized by the founders in the Declaration of Independence preclude our government from laying claim to the lives of its citizens. I heard a viewpoint however on Shawn Ryan where it was posited that if the U.S. had mandatory service, more people would be affected by these military actions. Thereby creating a greater pool of citizens willing to stand in opposition to the President and Congress and possibly voting warmongers out. That's not enough for me but it is an interesting viewpoint.

My kid left yesterday for Iran. Before we hung up, he wanted to discuss his life insurance policy. He’s 19. It gutted me. War isn’t a joke. It’s not something C rate celebs should be making controversial statements about for attention. Shame on you @EW for running this drivel.

Rob Schneider, who does not have a history of military service, called for the U.S. to reinstate a military draft for men and women amid the war with Iran. ew.com/rob-schneider-…

My statement re Prohibiting the Latin Patriarch of entering Church of Holy Sepulcher on Palm Sunday: While all Holy sites in the Old City are closed due to safety concerns for mass gatherings including the Western Wall, Church of the Holy Sepulcher and Al Aqsa Mosque, the action today by the Israel Nat'l Police to deny Latin Patriarch Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa and 3 other priests from entering the Church to offer a blessing on Palm Sunday is an unfortunate overreach already having major repercussions around the world.  Home Front Command Guidelines restrict any gatherings to 50 people or less.  The 4 representatives of the Catholic Church were well below that restriction.  Statements from the Gov't of Israel indicate the action to prohibit Cardinal Pizzaballa entry to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher were for safety reasons, but churches, synagogues, and mosques throughout Jerusalem have met with the restrictions of 50 or less.  For the Patriarch to be barred from entry to the Church on Palm Sunday for a private ceremony is difficult to understand or justify. Israel has indicated it will work with the Patriarch to accommodate a safe means of carrying out Holy Week activities.

@glennbeck @DrZuhdiJasser Until everyone stops trying to differentiate between Muslim and Islamist the conflict with the Judeo-Christian civilization will never end. Stop trying to be politically correct. Islam is in effect a political ideology seeking world domination through conquest.

Is there a difference between Muslims and Islamists? @DrZuhdiJasser, who has suffered many consequences for standing against Islamism as a Muslim, argues that there is: “Is [Islamism] the predominant Islam? Absolutely. [But] if you don’t separate Islamism from Muslims and a possibility of reform, who are the people in Iran on the street that reject theocracy? Are they in a vacuum? Do they not have a faith?"

@VDHanson Why are changes in view of politicians/bureaucrats couched in terms of betrayal towards some other politician, president or otherwise? Do not all elected or appointed bureaucrats swear an oath to the Constitution? The cult of personality will be the death of our Republic.

Joe Kent honorably served the United States during his 11 deployments to combat zones in the Middle East. Now, however, he has betrayed President Trump, the man who helped him have a political career as the director of the National Counterterrorism Center after two failed congressional campaigns, explains Victor Davis Hanson on today’s episode of “Victor Davis Hanson: In His Own Words.” youtu.be/E_4oRG9rlIo?si…

So communists who infiltrated the govt. and funneled nuclear secrets to Russia because they believed Communism superior to Republicanism, are now Americans who just wanted to share global power with Russia? Come on man! Will someone please delineate how the U.S. accomplishes complete global domination? Not influence, domination. The former implies shared power, the latter does not.

You know who else in the GOP agreed with Tucker we should share power with China? The Bushes, so they granted China "most favored nation status."
MAGA. Still not tired.@Ralph_Laurentz

@SteveDeaceShow There were Americans who thought we should share power with Russia after WW2 and gave them nuclear secrets.

I agree by definition in the U.S. super power status based on military prowess. However, did not Israel’s threat of preemptive strike force our hand per Rubio? Not a sign of being the sole driver. While I agree two opposing belief’s can’t drive the same car, they can each have their own and work out how to share the road. Just because you may have the biggest car on the road doesn’t make you immune from being run into the ditch.

The simple answer I believe is USA is the world superpower bc we are able to use military power greater than any other country in the world. That threat alone puts US in driver seat. For sharing power with china, it is completely morally wrong to our judeo-Christian western ideas. Two opposing belief systems can’t both have there hands on the steering wheel.

@mrmayhem79 @SteveDeaceShow I don’t think delegate is the proper word. It implies the one delegating already holds all the global power. How can you delegate that which you neither possess nor control?

@LeonAthey @SteveDeaceShow That's all before we could project global power around the world. Share is the wrong word now. The new word is delegate. We are going to delegate power around the world now.

I don’t think it does defeat the purpose. To be clear, sharing global power to me is not “I have X-amount of power and you can have some of it.” Rather, I have global power through my economy and military and recognize you do as well. Whether or not either one of us has enough to totally dominate the other is not something either wants to risk finding out through direct action. Hence diplomatic stand-offs if you will.

@LeonAthey @SteveDeaceShow @DeaceOnline No. I am saying "yes" sharing power is in fact, diplomacy. But we can't share power with EVERYONE or it defeats the purpose, doesn't it? We share power with the the other nations who share our desire to maintain order.

@LeonAthey @SteveDeaceShow @DeaceOnline Yes. And "sharing power" only works with those willing to USE POWER to stop the bad guys. In the contemporary case, the "bad guys" happen to be the largest state sponsor of terrorism, who have been helping kill Americans and Israelis for the last 50 years.

Shared diplomacy is not the same as the sharing of power through diplomacy. The former implies a common goal with the latter manifesting as a form of detente. With the U.S. being the only super power since the fall of the Soviet Union, there has obviously been no peace. So yes, you are correct in that the human way is conflict and conquest. The task is for man to rise above this base nature.

No. Just pointing out that during that time period when neither the U.S. nor Russia had absolute global power, each focused its influence in their own hemisphere. Proxy wars were fought by each to try and gain more influence over a region. Global power was shared in that neither was willing to take the steps necessary to dominate the other. Peace did not reign.

I guess it’s more indicative of one religion’s believers willingness to acquiesce to another’s. Secularist’s have been digging their own grave since the “separation of church and state” argument. Sadly a large amount of Christendom has been sucked into the pit as well. Look at NYC to see what will fill the void and dance on the grave.

Gad Saad@GadSaad

Have you noticed how many times @ZohranKMamdani has promoted Islam since he became mayor of NYC? Is this a manifestation of "freedom of religion" or a violation of the separation of religion (church) and state? Does your freedom of religion supersede our rights to be free from your religion?

@DeaceOnline I share your understanding about the Canaanites but this is clickbait. It takes more energy to burn a body than it contributes to the process. What they did was wrong for moral reasons but they didn‘t do it to heat the hospital.
