I would like to share with all of you a part of my attitude towards life. Nothing prompted this, I just wanted to get it out there. Maybe it’ll even shift someone’s outlook. I used to live day-to-day always assuming that the worst outcome was going to happen in any given scenario, even if the logic suggested otherwise. I was so afraid of potentially being disappointed, embarrassed, or any of the other negative emotions which exist, that I would constantly convince myself that the most likely outcome was the one that I wanted to happen the least. And I eventually discovered that, rather ironically, all it actually did was make me even more miserable. Contrary to what some people say, it doesn’t “save you from disappointment or pain”, it literally just brings down your whole existence. This post has nothing to do with GTA 6 or what might happen tomorrow, but I may as well use it an example. I personally believe that a lot of things point towards us getting GTA 6 pre-orders. Mostly it’s Best Buy’s complete silence, Rockstar’s history with opening up pre-orders on Monday’s, and the upcoming earnings call. However, I also understand that there’s a chance that we get nothing. At the end of the day, until it actually comes to fruition, Rockstar can and will do whatever they please. Now, I could choose to lean into the latter outcome. That’s what I used to do, I would latch onto whatever I didn’t want to happen (this would also include tiny, ordinary, everyday stuff) and allow it to consume my mind. I would tell myself that it’s better to assume that the worst will happen, regardless of how I truly felt inside, because if it ultimately did then I would feel better about it. I now realise that this way of thinking was so stupid. Just think about it, even if nothing ends up happening tomorrow regarding GTA 6, then at least I can say that I had a great time talking about it and sharing my excitement with you all. I wouldn’t let it ruin my life, nor would I wish that I had come on here and stated an opinion that deep down I didn’t actually want to believe in just to MAYBE have felt slightly less disappointed. Because ultimately we don’t live in tomorrow, we can only connect the dots whilst looking backwards, not forwards. I truly think that a lot of people would be significantly happier if they opted to think positive and hope for the best, instead of thinking of the worst before it even happens just like I used to. And if you are like I used to be, constantly seeing the worst in life and choosing to inherently view everything with negativity regardless of reality, then try to stop. We don’t get much time on this planet, you should spend it trying to feel good as much as you possibly can. This is absolutely the most random post that I have ever made. I just felt like I have the ability to reach people, so why shouldn’t I try and use it to spread positivity and maybe even help somebody once in a while.

Best Buy still hasn’t corrected or retracted the email, making it clear that pre orders are most likely starting Monday. People keep saying nothing is happening until August, but the simplest explanation is usually right. Multiple people received confirmation emails from Best Buy stating Monday as the start date, and if that was incorrect, a responsible company would have issued a correction by now. At this point, it’s hard to believe Best Buy would intentionally troll customers in a way that could damage their reputation and upset thousands. Everything points toward Monday being the real deal. And if it turns out they were wrong… yeah, the boycott jokes are definitely coming 😭

I believe GTA 6 pre-orders are happening on Monday. If the Best Buy leak was a mistake, they would have said something. This affects Take-Two's stock directly and I don't think they want to mess with that.

The Best Buy pre-order date is almost certainly a placeholder. If Rockstar wanted to drop major news, they would sync it with Thursday's Take-Two earnings call just like they did during the delay announcement. Hopefully im wrong, but better to lower expectations.

I cannot believe that I’m typing this but GTA 6 pre-orders have been leaked by Best Buy. They sent out an affiliate email (which has been verified) that mentions a campaign that begins on May 18th. WHAT AN INSANE THING FOR ME TO WAKE UP TO IT’S ACTUALLY HAPPENING WHAT THEEEEEE
