@Lesditch I certainly do Les, they were aggressive little sods. I witnessed them ousting Little Grebe from their nests and also attacking different diving duck species...too many introduced species affecting our indigenous wildlife. Grey squirrel, RN parakeets, mink etc👊💥

Arrived safely in Norfolk ahead of 2 Birdwatching Trips Tours. A Barn Owl was the first bird seen in Norfolk hopefully a good omen. First tour starts tomorrow.

@Charlie071246 @OctopusEnergy When mine was like that, contant remote re-boots, did nothing. A power cut in our neighbourhood one night shut everything in the house down. When power came back on, smart meter worked fine. Obviously needed a complete reboot ! Think about it @OctopusEnergy

Very disappointed with @OctopusEnergy. My smart meter worked perfectly until they replaced the comms unit on 22 Dec. Since then it hasn’t transmitted readings. 9 calls, missed call-backs, conflicting explanations, still no fix. Nearly 80 & need to monitor usage. Not acceptable.

@AndyWarr3 Yes, many sub species have been 'lumped together " scientifically, but it is still good fun (& interesting) for us birders.

@GlosterBirder Hi Mike, I will be relocating to Somerset this year so I am concentrating in that region. If you know of a counterpart in that county I’d be very grateful for a contact. Best wishes and thanks for all your invaluable knowledge. Tim

Please let me have your January scores. I'm bowing out on 121, one more than last Jan. Not planning on a Big Year but I wasn't last year. I missed Slav and Water Pipit (I haven't quite given up on that one yet). Lots of people have broken 100 this month. #GlosList #GlosBirds

@ShirtsDavid @OctopusEnergy So, your car is old & knackered & has to be scrapped off... But you want another one the same age, same old technology & none of the benefits of a newer car ? Really ? My smart meter tells me real-time what gas I'm using, what electricity I'm importing/exporting from my solar.

.@OctopusEnergy What in the absolute waste of your time is this bullshit? From experience anything prefixed with 'smart' is a fucking nightmare and useless. Tell me why I have to be bullied into this. This obviously benefits you and not me…

I think I glimpsed a Brambling in amongst the Chaffinch flock...? A good Winter in the #Cotswolds for this fabulous finch in the Cotswolds - never mind so many birds in sumptuous plumage - and pleasing to find birds in five locations. A rare treat! #GlosBirds
