I think that ultimately in order to launch a strike that decapitated the regime it was required to be a surprise. The case for doing this has been made for 47 years. It was made with 2 assassination attempts. It was made with 30-90k dead Iranians mowed down in the streets. We will handle Iran, the question is not about Iran, it is about your oil and fertilizer. Do you want it now, or do you want to wait until the US takes over the straight and charges protections fees.
