this bull was really different compared to past bull markets. the PA within this cycle has not been easy on peoples minds. they call it the "most bearish bull market ever". its rough out there. but why are people so so mad rn? > lets first take a look at how we got here: > people had to survive A LOT OF SHIT getting here > people had bad positioning (not enough or no BTC at all + too many dinosaur alts) > dilution of altcoins has let to a high percentage of retail getting rekt for their last breath => retail is the lowest and the most bearish it has ever been (+ lack of interest) history doesnt repeat but it rhymes! we had a clear shift in demand for altcoins. too many tokens getting born every day has messed up "the game", even tho: > the tech is as good as it ever has been > deregulation is in full effect (thanks obama) > real world adoption (institutions, stablecoins & RWAs) "messing up the game" ultimately is a good thing tho. => lets go back to first principles! there is like almost 1 order of magnitude between %retailmoney back then (past cycles) vs now (institutional money driven cycle) but we are actually in a very good spot imho: > asset class is way bigger in size => more liquidity > no systemic risk (3AC, FTX, CeFi giants etc, fraud in general) > no crazy parabolic altcoin landscape (2017 ICOs, 2021 L1s/DeFi/NFTs) > Lindy Effect > regulatory unlock > this is still the most interesting and most retarded market out there > combine the existing infrastructure with human creativity and its only a matter of time till another dApp goes mainstream. and then another dApp. and then another dApp... (s/o polymarket) => maybe the bear market will be very different too compared to past bear markets? (shorter and less agressive?) be ready tho for the case that we have 1 year+ of shitty price action, we could go as low as $60k (unlikely imho but if ur ready for it emotionally then its way easier to feel comfy in this market) choose your fighter wisely, have some patience and believe in something! gmonad

Monad now has linear memory expansion costs rather than quadratic like Ethereum. Smart contracts can now use more memory for cheaper cost. This expands what developers can build on Monad as well as reduces the need to potentially compromise security for optimization purposes.
