@CofRedCentral If the choice was to use the last retention spot at TDL on Kadri or Coleman, then it had to be Kadri, couldn’t pass the opportunity to move th at contract out. Coleman should be an easy sell this summer

I can't find the story, but I'm pretty sure I wrote about this years ago. I think it was something that came out of the NHL R&D process -- a thin red line inside the net. If the puck touches it, that means it went over the goal line. Anyone remember this?

@CofRedCentral Disagree. Obviously we need to add talent, and to manage the roster appropriately, but without having a strong culture to guide things or you turn into the sabres. Any leadership course will emphasize this

One thing I’ll say because we will hear it a lot today: Culture, while great, doesn’t matter right now. You get the talent first, then worry about the culture. Who cares if a bunch of average Joes are having fun, they need to win

It’s so disappointing. Most of the season this team flirted with the bottom of the standings. This could be their only chance to get that high. But as others have said, this is what they do. They can’t help but be mediocre.
