Amorim loyalists are extremely anti Michael Carrick and admirers of Julian Nagelsmann not based on football. They have 2 main reasons: 1. They hate Carrick because he came in and exposed the tactical failure of Amorim after he had convinced people that the team is not good enough to consistently win matches. I remember when Carrick took charge and his first two games were against Manchester City and Arsenal. These people were excited hoping that Carrick would lose his first two games so they could say "Amorim was not the problem." When that did not happen, the demons turned against Carrick and they became proper haters 2. They hate the fact that Carrick came in and started using a back four while also making Kobbie Mainoo a regular starter in the team. So now they want Nagelsmann while hoping that he comes in and benches or outright asks for Mainoo to be sold. That is the agenda they are pushing. These are the demons we are dealing with at Manchester United right now. How can a manager who nearly relegated the club have such a huge fan base?

The moment a manager plays a system that limits most of his attacking players that system is wack. Olise, Dias and Kane are all enjoying from Kompanys system not just one player but all 3. Same with Psg. Kvara, Dembele and Doue are all enjoying even bakola. Carricks system is limiting Mbeumo and Amad and even Cunha and every assist passes through Bruno Fernandes, if you don’t see any problem with that you just hate the truth.

Ruben Amorim could have gotten us Champions League football if he stayed. The foundation Carrick is thriving on? That’s Amorim’s work… the players he brought in, the basics he drilled, the partnerships and instincts he built. Even now, you can see traces of it… even if some of it is starting to fade in players like Mbeumo and Amad. And let’s not forget — Amorim is a big reason Bruno Fernandes is still at Manchester United. Bruno was close to leaving, but Amorim pulled him back in because he believed in his project. Say what you want, but the roots of this progress didn’t just appear overnight.

I’m reading fan speculation online that Gunther will call in a favor from Paul Heyman to have Brock Lesnar come out of retirement for one more match. My question is- why? Who does it help? Brock losing to Gunther doesn’t really look right, doesn’t make sense, and I don’t see either benefiting from the match. Here’s the thing with Oba Femi that nobody wants to talk about. For full disclosure, I’m a fan of Oba. I think he’s the future of WWE. People are talking about Oba dethroning Roman Reigns and becoming world champion already. I think this is short sighted and will actually hurt Oba in the long term. This isn’t a Brock Lesnar situation. There aren’t a lot of big guys on the roster like during Brock’s debut and tenure that Oba can run through. If he goes on to dethrone Roman already, what’s next? Roman is the biggest star on the roster already, so anyone below him is a downgrade and not as impactful in terms of booking. Then what? Squashes everyone for the rest of his 20 year career? The IWC will turn on him faster than their SSRI’s kick in during their mental episodes. This is a 100% GUARANTEE. I think WWE needs to slow down on Oba. Give him a long IC title run and have him demolish the midcard. It’ll be fun to watch. Then, slowly work him into the main title picture strategically. Those calling for him to “squash everyone” and get “pushed to the moon” will also be the ones that complain when it becomes redundant.
