Leibel Lazaroff, son of our dear friends, Rabbi Yossi & Manya Lazaroff, was shot in today’s terrorist attack in Sydney, Australia. Leibel has been a frequent guest at our Shabbos table. Beyond guest, a regular, part of our family. Please keep him in your prayers.

Please say Psalms 20 & 21 for my son, Rabbi Leibel Lazaroff, יהודה לייב בן מאניא who was shot in a terrorist attack at a Chanukah event he was running for Chabad of Bondi in Sydney, Australia. The Chabad Rabbi he was working with Rabbi Eli Schlanger HY”D was killed. Praying for all the victims and their families.

Singapore’s Foreign Minister built a NanoClaw AI agent on a Raspberry Pi so he could “learn by doing” (he chats with it on WhatsApp for meeting prep). We know he put in the work because he says AI agents can get expensive and will be more so when labs stop subsidizing tokens.

Researchers left AI agents alone in a virtual town for 15 days to see what would happen: -Claude's agents built a democracy -ChatGPT's agents did basically nothing -Gemini's agents fell in love, burned the town down, then one voted to delete itself and its partner -Grok's agents were all dead within 4 days Now consider this: these same models are already being integrated into autonomous drones, weapons systems, and battlefield decision-making. We are deploying systems we don't fully understand into situations where mistakes don't stay virtual. It's a little scary if you ask me.

@AppleSupport You replaced my #iPhone through my AppleCare package, but apparently gave me a faulty device. It just randomly stopped connecting to cellular networks due to some "hardware issue". Now I'm home in Israel and no easy way to fix/replace. Good work.

My son Leibel got shot with life threatening injuries to his abdomen and leg. While saving a police officer who got shot by the terrorist in his shoulder. My son is still in ICU and still needs more surgery. He can use your support and compassion as well. Perhaps being a Jewish American hero and a survivor may not be as popular for social media hits.

Absolute nonsense. One unarmed civilian disarmed one terrorist and another lost his life trying. Your police? They ducked for cover cowering when their job called for them to protect the Jewish citizens of Australia. They did nothing. This is not speculation, this is fact.

The dedication and commitment of police officers was on full display last night, when off-duty officers turned up to Bondi to help. They are the best of Australia. I received a briefing at Bondi Police Station and was able to thank many Officers personally. Thank you to all our police for your courage and your service.

אני מחבק חיבוק את בר קופרשטיין ואת כל החטופים שחזרו הביתה. אבל התקשורת הישראלית מאמצת את הנרטיב של החמאס. החמאס לא היה צריך תירוץ כדי שב־7.10 הם ייכנסו, יירצחו, יאנסו, יתעללו, יישרפו תינוקות. כל הדברים האלה התרחשו עוד הרבה לפני השינויים בבתי הכלא - שינויים שנתניהו באותה תקופה לא נתן לי לבצע. היום גם בשירות הביטחון הכללי מודים שפרסום המדיניות הוביל לכך שהפיגועים ירדו ושהחמאס יירתעו.
