If you want to be a serious competitor, you need to bring this with the new Xbox: - Full hardware backwards compatibility with Xbox, Xbox 360, and others - Don’t go full digital. Remember Sony’s campaign when Microsoft tried to restrict physical game sharing? That 10-second video was simple and effective and had zero costs. So what mistakes can you use? First: be cheaper than the PS6. Very important Second: if they go fully digital with an optional disc drive, you should include a disc drive as standard Third: make online gaming free, you could be a hero with this move Fourth: make your games cheaper. Many players would choose Xbox because of this Fifth: you need 1–2 exclusive games at launch. Big hits. First impressions matter. The Switch wouldn’t have been as successful without Mario Odyssey and Zelda at launch You need a system seller at launch something that makes people buy the console: Maybe Project Gotham Racing. Maybe Banjo-Kazooie. Maybe Ryse 2. Maybe a new Dead Rising. Maybe a Fallout 3 remake. Maybe a new Wolfenstein. Or even new IPs. There’s more than just Forza, Gears, and Halo. Bending over backwards to find a negative in a service that offers an incredible value of $5000 worth of games for $276/year. Buy or sub to whatever seems of value to you. But it's undeniable that Day and Date Game Pass content is awesome!

Motherfucker you still can watch 20-30 movies, series, documentaries, anime or animation just everything, because to watch one movie takes you 2 hours to watch one documentary maybe 1 hour. You have just enough time for this shit. You need to understand that it’s a different type of media. I can watch 8 movies on Netflix while you’re still playing just one or two games. For $19.99, it’s still good for 8 movies and much more stuff to watch. But $29.99 for just 1–2 games is just too much.

If Netflix increased its price to $29.99 just because it added the Prime catalog I’d say exactly the same. And if Netflix raised its price because of some huge day one blockbusters that usually release in theaters first I’d still say the same. The point is you know exactly what you’re subscribing with Netflix or Prime. And don’t forget that movies and games are very different forms of media. You can watch a movie in about two hours but games usually take much longer. You might watch 10 movies in a month but maybe only play one or two games in that same time

Ganz ehrlich ihr könnten game pass für locker 12-13€ anbieten wenn ihr nicht so viel unnötige Inhalte reinhaut. Wer braucht heutzutahe Ubi spiele noch oder fortnite scheiss dinger. Von mir aus könnte das Katalog einfach 100 spiele haben mit day one first party spielen und paar geilen indie perlen mit paar anderen geilen AA und AAA ergänzungen mehr braucht man doch kaum.

And if Xbox is your major platform. I have all of the consoles so I don’t have enough time to play a lot of games in Game Pass. It’s better for me to buy the games on sale and play them whenever I want. They should go back to true exclusive games which is the only reason why I bought the consoles. Imagine all PS3 games were on Steam day one how worthless becomes the PS3. Exclusives are and they will always be the reason why we choose. Imagine Netflix originals at Disney+ like wtf yes? This made MS with Xbox just a worthless console to the majority.

I don’t fully agree with all of your points, especially regarding Japan Studio. They hadn’t delivered a major commercial hit for many years. Some of their best developers eventually moved on to newly formed studios like Team Asobi which went on to create one of the best platformers ever with Astro Bot. Yes they made a lot of mistakes in the past and that’s likely one of the reasons they never grew beyond 100–120 million console sales and yet they still seem to wonder why 😂 What really makes me sad is that they shut down Evolution Studios and have done nothing with so many of their IPs till this day. Franchises like Killzone, Resistance, Jak &Daxter, Ape Escape, and many more could at least generate easy money through remasters. PlayStation history is always make one generation good and rebuild the trust of fans then fuck and shit on them with everything you have in the next generation 😂 make one decision good and five decisions bad never ending cycle like in Returnal 🤌🏻
