People spreading completely unfounded rumours about the Russians poisoning/assassinating Sen Graham in Ukraine are doing the Ukrainians a big disservice, as it means that the Ukrainians could not protect a US Senator on an official trip.

I find the Lee Kuan Yew fetishism on the part of the right that pretends to be technocratic very funny. Sami Gold called it "playing with dolls" but honestly there's a lot more pathos to it.
The entire global right is now run by people who are the ideological descendants of Jörg Haider and Silvio Berlusconi. It's crooks and freaks who mobilize hatred to win power and once they take it all they want to do is bankrupt countries so they can spend money on sex and mansions, that's the whole thing.
Now, at some level, they know this. They have to know it. However, recognizing decided to live in a Baroque fantasy where it's the politicians they make apologies for who are serious, it's Spencer Pratt and Donald Trump who are the serious bureaucrats and technocrats trying to build a functional, flourishing, multicultural city, and the leftists who are the unscrupulous, unserious ones.
The cognitive dissonance is literally *the only explanation here.* There's no non-psychological reading of these tweets.

I agree with this. Not to be a conspiracy theorist, but Lindsay Graham was the leading driver of the devastating sanctions bill against Russia. Yesterday, he announced that president Trump agreed to it. He had just returned from Ukraine where it’s not unknown for Russian agents to operate. Russians are expert at administration of poisons that look like heart attacks. All tests should be done immediately to rule out foul play. I’ve seen enough Russian related suspicious deaths to know this is the only course of action

Regarding Senator Graham’s tragic passing, “cardiac arrest” is not an adequate answer. Cardiac arrest tells us how his life ended. It does not tell us why his heart stopped. Given the threat environment, the identities of America’s adversaries, and Senator Graham’s prominent role confronting them, the American people deserve certainty. That means a complete forensic autopsy, preservation of all relevant biological specimens, comprehensive toxicology and histology, and consultation with federal law enforcement and counterintelligence authorities.

Yes. I read it as a child. Because it’s a children’s book.
We keep lowering standards for children’s media and then wonder why kids can’t read or grasp complex concepts.
Running into words you don’t know is part of the learning experience. Not an insurmountable obstacle.

@bazashc Have you ever read it??? It’s 100% not a children’s book and whoever says that is lying to you. Not only is the vernacular dated and elaborate but the sentence structure and lengthy writing is often hard to get your head around as an adult. Love that book! but it’s not for kids
