Kiddo caught a lightning bug and said he was going to make a wish. I didn't know you could wish on them. So we decided if it lights up when you let it go, your wish will come true. Highly recommend for the littles. They always light up and it's so fun

@LewisAnneMarie @HDunn_Writer Yup it's a small town. Small library. But just a few miles away is a much bigger town, bigger library, I'd probably have more chance of getting my books in there.

I asked my local library if they ever carry books by local authors. Their response is below. What do you think it means by "professionally reviewed" b/c I'm not about to pay for reviews: Hi Heather, Yes, we sometimes add local authors to the collection. It helps if the books are professionally reviewed but it's not always necessary. If we do decide to add it can take a while because they have to be cataloged by the ******** County Library System. If you want to drop them off we can't guarantee we'll add them but we can let you know. Regard, Reference Staff

@HDunn_Writer My books are not allowed in my local library. Not because of the content, but one of the librarians "used to be" a FB friend of mine. She supported the Amazon boycott. I told her that it harms other authors. She said it was bigger than the small indie authors then unfriended me.

@WritesMedieval @HDunn_Writer That’s disappointing the library will only carry a local author if they write about the town.

@HDunn_Writer Libraries have their own suppliers. I suspect it's the supplier who will want to review your book. If it passes their review, they'll supply it to the library. (That's from asking my local library, who will only take on books whose content relates to the town😞)
